Awesome Christmas gift for my 7 year old some!

My first gun I ordered in red jammed and the shells wouldn't eject but Amazon sent a replacement and I was crossing my fingers. This was a Christmas gift to my grandson who was dying for this. It was disappointing that it didn't work on Christmas but the replacement did come on NYE so he didn't have to wait long. The replacement was a camo design rather than the red which I was surprised at but he accepted it and once it was all put together it worked as it was supposed to and ejected the shells fine. He is really enjoying his toy and chasing after all of the foam bullets he shoots everywhere. He is 9 and this is a perfect size for his age to play with. He is enjoying trying to hit targets just like his dad. I think this gift will get a lot of play time and be in the rotation for a while unlike some gifts he gets. Although the first one being defective (and the only reason I took off one star) the second one is perfectly fine. I just managed to get the one lemon of the bunch. Oh and this camo model came with a vest that he can wear and put extra bullets in that the red one didn't have so it is a win all the way around in the end.

Great Nerf gun for kids who like action very suitable battery life is stable. It’s worth the money and the teaches kid about safety with guns and easy assemble.

I was excited for this to arrive but when I assembled it I instantly noticed multiple manufacturing defects. The zoom for the optic breaks easily and the screw then just spins freely in place causing the zoom to not move in and out or to not get its full range. The Magazine are terrible the bullets are way too loose in them causing them to push down on the spring unevenly which will cause the spring to rather seize or get twisted in itself. Last major issue I had is that the fire mode selector switch was installed upside down making auto become safe, safe become auto, and semi be at the bottom past where the switch stop is. I was very excited to try this out but then was immediately disappointed within an hour. Definitely not worth getting and now I have to return it.

We got this for my Son for Christmas and even almost 6 months later he still has a blast with it! The battery lasts so long and he loves how much ammo it holds at one time. He gets compliments and other kids wanting to try it out because it looks cool and he loves doing nerf wars with it. Definitely the best money spent for this gift!

This thing is SO cool. My kid was stoked to play with it, and I was too! 5/5 Christmas gift. Then, less that 40 rounds in and an extremely puny shell retention clip broke off. Now the thing will not pull the empty shells out of the chamber for extraction. Compared to the other reviews, we'd call it a jam. But regardless of what we call it, this foam dart gun will never work again. ...less that 40 shots fired!! I mean, I expected it to last a week; cheap dart guns are what they are. And if it had, we'd be talking about 4 stars and a cautious recommendation. But the small clip that broke is obviously undersized and WILL break on yours, eventually, if you buy it. Despite being the coolest looking and functioning foam dart gun I've ever seen, this thing is fundamentally flawed and should not be bought except for display.
