I’m seriously contemplating returning this. I’m so confused as to why this received such great reviews. I just got it yesterday and it’s not user friendly. At all. I wanted to use it in my salon but it only came with giant 16x20 posters as a reference instead a discrete booklet to look at- I’m not putting up disgusting follicle posters on the wall for clients to see. Plus there’s no way to store clients names to go with the pics it stores. It states in the description that it will you give you an analysis but it doesn’t. It only shows pics on the screen and you have to guess what the analysis is based on the giant poster. I’m going to give it one more try tomorrow.. I’ll keep yall updated!

This machine is very clear and easy to use. I use it before and after my scalp treatments. We chat about their scalp issues together and it really reassures them that I've done a good job and they can come back to me! Great value for money!

I purchased this skin & scalp analyzer for my massage/spa service and it’s decent. The dual‑head design (50× / 200×) is a strong point, and it does allow me to show clients certain scalp and skin details visually, which helps with demonstrations.  However, a few issues held it back from being perfect: • The image clarity isn’t always sharp. Some areas look a bit blurry, especially compared to higher‑end machines. • The buttons/controls feel a bit cheap (they’re not actually metal) and give me concerns about durability. • Because it’s a lower‑tier model, I’m not totally confident how long it will last under regular professional use. Overall, it’s a solid device for its price range and works for light or demo use—but if you’re looking for long‑term heavy duty use with top‑quality imaging, you might consider stepping up to a more professional unit.

I’ve struggled with hair loss on and off, and no dermatologist has ever done as much as view my scalp under a microscope. The only thing they’ve ever done was talk to me about my hair, and how it was doomed. These visits felt more like therapy sessions, minus the encouragement. I decided to take matters into my own hands, and literally get down to the root. The enclosed pamphlet helped solved years of questions! This machine is NOT for the weak, what you see may seriously cause you angst…a bit of advice, use with caution, and be prepared for whatever you may see. If you can get past that, you can start your healthy hair journey. Highly recommend!

This machine does a great job. It can show a live feed of the probe, or you can take stills and show up to four at a time on the screen. An SD card is used for storage. Build quality is very good. There is an extra probe cover so you can keep one sanitized while using one. I am very impressed. Any salon or clinic would do well to have this machine.
