45Kg not 90Kg of effort per side
Quite a decent and strong machine let down by the inaccurate or misleading description of the weight on each side. Yes, there's 90kg of weights each side, but because of the way the rope is routed, the weight you must pull is halved. Checked against 2 different scales, and also by comparing lifting a block of plates by directly grabbing the attachment point at the weights, vs pulling on the rope, just to confirm. Also confirmed rope is routed per the instructions. There isn't a simple way to overcome this and still be able to adjust the height of the attachment point. It's a good machine if 45kg per side is enough for you though, considering the price as well.
