Best bag for the money!
I wanted a bag for random short-ish hikes in the Welsh hills. I wanted an established brand but as with everything on Amazon it’s riddled with random Chinese brands on the cheaper end. I spotted this bag pretty soon on in the search, looked good and had a decent price at £38, but I was put off by the massive amount of reviews saying about the side pockets being crap for drinks, even some YouTube videos said the same. The only other one I wanted was the Osprey Hikelite 26 and is £60 ish so I took a punt at this cheaper one, thinking if it’s really that bad I’ll just put the drinks inside the bag. Glad I did, the bag is perfect! The side pockets are totally fine for my use, the people with drinks falling out must be using seriously big bottles. As you can see in the pictures I’ve uploaded I had a 700ml coffee flask in one pocket and a 750ml water bottle in the other and they were completely buried in there, even a 1 litre one would’ve been okay, the bottles didn’t fall out once. The bag’s pockets are nice and spacious, the smaller pocket has a plastic hook/loop for attaching your keys to. The whole bag seems to be made out of a durable material, the zips are high quality as well. It’s made of a water resistant material but obviously not waterproof, would be good if it came with a waterproof cover like the Hikelite does but I just got a 2 pack off Amazon for like £8 so I’ll carry one of them just in case I get caught in some rain. This will make the bag very handy for taking mountain biking too, don’t ruin the bag with wet mud at all. I took the waist belt/strap off because I don’t need it but the chest strap is spot on, and it can be adjusted higher and lower on the sort of rails, probably helpful if you’re a female for chest comfort. The clip also has a whistle on too. There’s also a pocket for a hydration bladder though I haven’t used this yet. Overall very comfy bag, the back plate is rigid and supports the contents nicely and cushions the bag, had it on for a 5 hour walk the other week (where I took the pictures for this review) and it was spot on. Very recommended!

Excellent bag for day use and mini-breaks
This bag exceeded my expectations. I already own a larger Osprey backpacking bag and purchased this item for my fiance as a day bag/carry on bag. It is extremely spacious whilst being very lightweight. The straps/front pocket allow for so much extra space. It comfortably fits a 15inch laptop + case and holds around 6kg's of clothing - enough for 4/5 days away! The bag is extremely durable and very well made. Very happy with this purchase.

Excellent travelling day sack
I bought this for a recent holiday to Thailand. I did a lot of research to find the beat day sack and went with this one. Its light weight but has plenty of pockets, big enough for everything i needed to carry around on day tours. Its comfortable to wear and doesn't suck to your back Trapping the sweat in. Highly recommend.

Good but not great!
Perfect size, great quality and finish, very light, compact yet spacious, super practical. I would call it a perfect backpack if not for 2 major flaws: 1. Water bottle pockets are not deep enough. They could have tighten them a little to prevent a bottle from falling out. 2. Integrated grab handle rubs against my lover neck making the wear very uncomfortable especially if you want to wear it high and tight when running for example. Many people raised those two issues before but osprey still makes the backpack the same way. What a shame...

Quality product
I bought a Daylite Plus from amazon and a Daylite from Go Outdoors in their Black Friday sale, primarily for a trip to South Africa. These daypacks are ideal for my use: warm weather gear with camera, binoculars and food for a day out looking for wildlife. I don't use the hip straps - these can be removed instead of being cut off on other packs. The main advantages are: LIGHTNESS and COMFORT. I have yet to find a better daypack.

Solid Little Backpack | Great Quality!
Positives - The backpack has a fantastic build quality and comes packed well, I've taken it out on a few day hikes (one in the rain) and it has been more than adequate and feels COMFORTABLE for a reasonably long time due to it's breathability (6hrs+). Negatives - If you're not a fan of heavily compartmentalised bags, it might not be the pick for you, as it has a fair few compartments and organisers inside. Other than that, remember it's a rather small bag you're buying here, it won't be suitable for multiple day hikes.

You can't go wrong with Osprey quality and comfort. I'm a broad shouldered guy--5 11" and this adjusts/fits quite comfortably for me. I also own a larger Aether 60 AG for regular backpacking, Osprey knows what they're doing. I will say, I would personally consider this Daylite Plus pack a daypack only. Although it's on the smaller side, it will carry quite a bit, definitely enough for your day to day needs, including a nifty padded area for your laptop or Kindle. I'm actually taking it on a Caribbean cruise where it will be used for off-ship excursions as well as my carry on onboard the plane. The two-tone color contrast and overall style is phenomenal, I've already received multiple compliments. You can't go wrong with Osprey...highly recommend!

I have not used the backpack, these are my impressions. I've been shopping around for a day pack and have looked at several. I kind of love the Daylight Plus. The green is beautiful, it's like a forest green. The features I specifically noted when comparing to similar items: Quality - excellent. Sturdy and attractive zippers, fabric, stitching. Three compartments, 4 if you count the stuff pouch - Main large section, the cushion to protect and hold the reservoir can double as a laptop/device area when you're traveling. The center pouch has some little organizing pockets, which I find useful to keep small things from falling to the bottom of the bag. The whole space isn't very big, but to be expected for a daypack. The stuff pouch has support on the sides and won't fall open. The clips are good and also allow you to tighten the pack if it's not very full. The small zip pouch at the front is such good use of space, I wish other backpacks did this. Side pockets - one on each side. Large and feel secure because the pocket design has them attached close to the front. Useful when you are not using a water reservoir. Support - Hip and chest straps are a must for me. The hip straps are appropriate for this size, no pockets, etc. Shoulder straps feel cushioned. The airscape back provides structure and support while maintaining a compact design. I imagine this design feels supportive when hiking. I think it's too small for what I need....but I might keep it anyway. I'll update after I've had it for a while.

I purchased this for a trip I did to the US - it was perfect for the plane as well as tripping around the country - it is not too big that it is cumbersome but not too small that you don’t have enough room. I also loved the extra pouch area that is for a laptop but I found it perfect for my iPad!
