Perfect choice for VR experience in its price range
Although it's a refurbished one, it came with the factory sealed box. Looks like new, mint condition, no scratches neither any other cosmetic damages. Works as intended, I'm very satisfied. I'm using mostly for watching movies/TV shows on the huge virtual screen, usually converting the content before to 3D to enhance the immersion. This is my very first VR headset and experience, it worth every penny.

I love it
I've owned an Oculus rift CV2, Quest 2, and now the Quest 3. I bought this to get the best wireless, consumer grade, game and experience orientated VR headset on the market and I would say it delivers. I personally never have any issues wearing VR headsets, such as motion sickness or fatigue and still have no issues with this. The display is crisp, adjustable, and relatively seamless. The display inside isn't so large that anywhere my eyes land, I see screen, but if you're looking forward for the most part it's pretty immersive still. The controllers are easy to hold, easy to use, and just like all the other generations, feel relatively intuitive in virtual reality. Meta did away with the tracker rings on the controllers, which I thought were actually to protect hands from hitting objects, but apparently not. Regardless, they are smaller. I pretty much have no complaints. The pass-through camera which is now way higher resolution and full color, allows for pretty easy augmented reality experiences and real world navigation without lifting up the headset. Most VR games aren't too large in size so 512 gigs is ample storage for even a hardcore VR collector. I don't really have any complaints about fit and comfort. I don't wear glasses and I am appropriate head size for somebody 5'6". Like many things, battery always is more to be desired. I'll say it's perfectly fine, but for any longer sessions, you may run into a dying headset. With the right cable or aftermarket wearable battery, this isn't a problem. There are certainly trade-offs I'm sure Meta considered when choosing battery size and it's fine. I definitely don't regret buying this and Hope VR technology comes far enough that more people can enjoy its experiences without motion sickness and whatnot.

Has amazing features, games! (Caution, not a tool to distract your kids)
Purchased for VRChat and not regretting it. It has ALOT of capabilities, which are fairly insuitive and sensible to use. This device is more or less based on a Smartphone and has similar features. Wifi, Bluetooth, casting and streaming, a VERY cool VR browser running Chromium (but fairly stripped down of options... which makes sense; its running android and therefor linux. The BASE headstrap is reasonably comfortable BUT over time, say plus an hour, will pester your brow and cheeks. Sack up a BoboVr, KiwDesign, or other well rated battery strap if you feel up for long sessions. The weight is a bit frontwise of the face and said straps will balance much better on the head. VRChat is a wonderful app, but may consider PCVR soon as not all options available. Regardless its the perfect *icebreaker for my socisl anxiety and has helped me climb past some barriers ive been having socializing. CAUTION TO NEGLECTFUL PARENTS: Be aware this is NOT another upgrade tool for absentee parenting. It WILL worsen screen addiction and make your kid pick up bad habits as with any other social media if you dont teach your kids better to begin with... ask me how i know. VRchat for my example has some rooms flooded with trashy mouthed little kids and teens and would-be-thug'lets in diapers whos parents need the spankings. Adults have common sense most times developed, but without arming your children with good etequette and sense, a brattier little gremlin can come out of your headset. As Denzel Washington said in graduation speeches, If a kid doesnt find their parent in the home they will find them in the street.

Meta Quest 3 Renewed - Great Purchase
I bought this “Renewed” from the Amazon store to save $50, which, as we all know, can sometimes be a crapshoot when it comes to electronic devices. That being said, I LOVE it. I’ve had it about 3 months now, and it works incredibly well. I had been eyeballing larger TVs because I’m a gamer (Xbox) and I wanted something bigger than my 55” TV that I currently have. There’s no need now with this headset. I can connect to either cloud gaming through Xbox (must have their ultimate or premium game pass subscription) or I can directly stream from my Xbox if I’m near it. It sometimes get lag spikes using these methods, but not enough to bother me, and I get to play games on a massive screen now. They also have amazing apps to watch movies (like Bigscreen) that I’ve used to watch my Sunday Ticket on a movie theater sized screen. I can update this review after I’ve had it longer to report on the durability, but I’ve used the heck out of it these first three months and no problems whatsoever. I’m a teacher, so I might even incorporate some kind of VR activities for individual students. This thing is amazing. I’ve never tried the Meta Quest competitors, but I’m extremely happy with this purchase!!! Maybe one of the only negatives is that the battery life is kind of short, but I typically use it on my family room couch that has a middle compartment plug in, so I’m right next to a power source. If you would use this away from a power source, there are options for headbands with hot swap batteries or longer power cords than the one provided, which isn’t very long. Resolution is great. My TV is actually kinda old and is an LCD instead of an LED, so the Meta Quest picture is probably better than my TV. The VR apps and games are pretty fun too, and they’re a nice change from typical 2D gaming. Paramount+ doesn’t seem to work with the browser though, which kind of sucks, but every other one seems to work fine. I have Apple TV+, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime TV, and NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube, and all those work VERY well. Set up was easy too and very intuitive. I did buy a new strap for it because the one provided isn’t very comfortable overall, but I got a comfortable one fairly reasonably priced (like $30). Overall, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone interested in VR and I would absolutely buy it again.

Ok So i ordered this for sim racing. The package arrived and everything was properly sealed and in good order. I unboxed the whole thing and did not see any scratches or damage to the device in any of its parts. I got a proper cable for it and plugged it in my PC. While the hardware was without anything to complain about. Not the software. You have to sign so many agreements thru your pc and thru your phone it's not even funny to make the device work. It is heavily tied into meta itself which should be illegal to force you into meta so much and in that way. Really intrusive and annoying process to go thru to get the software installed on your pc. Once installed it messed with my soundcard so for now i had to disable this and put everything aside until i can figure this out and see if there is a better way to do this. Nothing to do with the quest itself. I was completely blown away for the time i was in it.

Unreal experience, unlike anything I've ever tried for gaming experiences. My refurbished unit looked brand knew, I'd never have known. Unfortunately it took less than a week to be completely broken. A major PSA that I can give is this: if you work out in the headset - WIPE IT DOWN afterward. Had a very light workout, a bit of sweat on the headband, I wiped it off. Apparently not well enough. The next day it was stuck in an endless boot cycle leading to a black screen. Not even a factory reset fixed it. After some research I found out there is a very common issue of sweat seeping thru cracks, screw holes ect, and completely ruining the device. Fortunately amazon was quick to ship me out a replacement, even before I had returned the broken one. I don't believe this had anything to do with it being a refurbished unit though, and I'm hoping this was a one time thing, I'll certainly be more thorough with wiping it if I sweat even a little. An insane design oversight, but if you know about it in advance it's probably avoidable. Buy the headset and have an amazing time!! (Just be careful).
