Replacement Keyboard Compatible with Dell Inspiron 15 3510 3511 3515 5510 5515 5518, inspiron 16 7610, Latitude 3520, Vostro 15 3510 3515 3520 3525 7510 with US Layout (Grey, with Backlit)

Was bought to replace a defective keyboard and works fine .

They keyboard I received, while working, has 2 "9" keys and as such is missing the key to the right of the "0" key.

I am not sure if all of them are this way, but for our 3511 it is actually not really replaceable, you would have to cut and melt out retaining pins for the old, and then try and melt or glue this into the factory cover. Really you need the entire front cover housing and keyboard.

It requires you replace the entire palmrest with the keyboard. Maybe Dell is reusing some old model numbers and it may fit the Old model but that would be kind of ignorant and confusing on Dell's part I would think. Which is most likely the issue.

The as for this is misleading as it lists my Dell Latitude laptop model, but my laptop requires a full keyboard top instead of just the keyboard insert
