Works great would buy again

First, I must say that I have a lot of Makita 18V battery tools. I love them. This tool is compatible with my batteries and it’s the first handheld cordless vacuum that I’ve come across that is powerful and Makita compatible. In fact, this is probably my most used tool in my garage! I use it with the provided accessories as a sweeper in my garage (my wife hates dirt on the floor) and use it to often to vacuum my car. The suction is excellent! I use it so much that I put my ShopVac in the attic…sorry ShopVac. Cleaning out the debris is easy but you do have to line up the canister quite precisely to get it back on. That’s my only knock on this product but not enough to lower my rating.

It's a decent vacuum for the money BUT I agree with other reviewers that this vacuum is very cumbersome to assemble and disassemble. It also it a pain to empty, you have to remove the filter to empty the canister. Kinda useless to even have a hepa filter when ya gotta wear a dust mask. I also found that it clogs within the main body, and one has to run a rod to clear. Battery life is decent but not exceptional. Now for the good. It is powerful, I like it better than the handheld shop vac. It is also better than my M12 Milwaukee cordless for when you are cleaning floors with two extension tubes, more suction. I also like the true on/off switch Overall, it's a decent vacuum and I would recommend although the exceptions noted above. Its decent for floors, especially dust bunnies, cat hair, and light debris. I still prefer the Milwaukee M12 for close up jobs though.

Wasn't impressed. The videos I watched seems to be they got paid for making. This vaccuum literally has next to 0 section power. If it's anything bigger than a granual of dirt then it's stay right where it is. Don't waste your money

This vacuum is hands down 10 TIMES better than the Makita version!! Way better suction.

This is a good portable vacuum cleaner. It is powerful, but a bit noisy. It is great for cleaning my truck interior. I especially like that it uses an external Makita battery. I can always tell battery life is available, and if I run out of power, I can swap-out the battery for another. You cannot do that with vac that has an internal battery.Gom with the External Battery

It works ok, pretty powerful. Big draw backs though. Battery life it's short. I can barely finish doing my Compact SUV before the battery dies. The biggest problem is putting the dust cap back on. The pieces don't fit correctly. I had to take a file to the yellow tax on the bottom. Once I lowered that by about 1/2 it fit back on.
