The pump applicator is genius—none of the drying, crunchy, dirty-scalp effects of an aerosol, and none of the clogs or uncontrolled oopsies of most powder formulas. The pump sort of puffs the product onto the hair, which makes for a very lightweight and more even application. I've got thick, fine, naturally light-colored hair with lots of bleach on the ends—the kind of hair that picks up scalp oils as soon as it's washed, though the bleached parts are bone-dry without some serious intervention. This dry shampoo is kind to both: it keeps my roots grease-free without my ends looking damaged, poufy, stiff, or product-heavy. Unlike other reviewers, I'm not a fan of the scent (not much of a fan of scented anything, really). It's rather a sweet smell, but quite light relative to most hair products. It won't linger on your pillow or be all you smell as you go through the day.

this stuff is seriously amazing. it smells great and works wonders. I can go days without washing my hair and it still looks fresh with plenty of volume. 100/10 would recommend. you won’t regret it!

Smells great & actually works! I have thin and greasy hair, and this is the best dry shampoo I have found. Put it on the night before and you will wake up with new, fresh hair!

This dry shampoo powder smells absolutely amazing!! It’s best for day two hair, in my opinion. If your hair is really greasy, it does help some but it also kinda feels like you have product in your hair, unlike some other dry shampoos. But as far as a non-aerosol option goes, I think this is definitely the best route. It doesn’t leave a white caste or anything and, although the bottle is pretty tiny, a little bit goes a long way so the small bottle will last a really long time. And yeah, I can’t compliment the smell enough. It really does smell really really nice! The only reason I’m giving it 4- stars is because I don’t love how it feels on actual dirty hair, like more than a couple days post-wash. I do think it makes your hair LOOK better, but it doesn’t exactly make it FEEL better. But I do really like throwing some in my hair in the evening on day 2 post wash and then the next day there’s a ton of volume in your hair smells great

Fabulous scent, easy to apply. Love the pump applicator to ‘spray’ in the powder, it distributes it nicely.

I have such mixed feelings on this one :/ the dry shampoo works fine, most of them do. But this applicator is really difficult to get working correctly, at least in my opinion! Way too much comes out and if you don’t move it while you’re pumping out a single spray then way too much ends up in one spot to re distribute. But the spray happens really fast, you’re not really able to do it slowly because it’s an air pressure dependent pump mechanism. I just wasn’t able to distribute it in my hair well at all. Multiple people also commented on the lovely smell which is why I wanted to try this one over the other non-aerosol products. t is a nice smell, but it is so overpowering. If it was 1/10 of the strength, it would be really nice, but it’s the sickly sweet overpowering smell that made me nauseous. I’m sitting here 30 minutes later with it in my hair and I still feel a little bit sick to my stomach. Such a disappointment! I was really hoping to love this one

I've tried so many dry shampoos, but DAE Hair Fairy Duster is truly in a league of its own. I absolutely love this product! First off, the scent is incredible – fresh, natural, and just delightful, not overwhelming. It makes my hair smell genuinely clean. More importantly, it works so well. A few puffs instantly absorb oil, leaving my hair refreshed, voluminous, and feeling clean, not gritty. The best part is that it blends perfectly into my hair with absolutely NO residue or white cast, even on my darker roots. It's truly invisible! If you want a dry shampoo that performs flawlessly, smells amazing, and disappears without a trace, you need this. It's a total game-changer for me!

I’ve tried them all. You name it, I’ve tried it, from premium brands at Sephora, salon brands, drugstore and THIS is THE ONE. The first thing you’ll notice is it’s not aerosol, it’s a pump that shoots out a perfect little poof of the finest milled most DELICIOUS smelling beauty dust. It’s easy to get a great application. (The company makes a brush to use with it. My review is without using a brush, although now I’m intrigued.) This doesn’t make my hair feel like it has product or weird or look white. It helps my hair to feel truly CLEANER in a way I’ve never gotten from aerosol products. It feels much lighter and much more absorbent. I also believe it’s a great value and has many more uses per bottle compared to aerosols and others I’ve tried. I kinda used to feel like I was always running out of dry shampoo and that I only got a few sprays for $31. I’ve been going hard on my DAE for months and can SEE inside the bottle that we’re still going strong and have product left. I loved this so much it led me to check out other products from DAE. I also highly recommend their pink tube styling creme with the mascara brush. For reference I have fine color treated hair naturally wavy curly hair that is not especially dry or oily.

This product is on a completely different level. The smell alone is enough to make you obsessed — it smells SO dang incredible I actually look forward to using it. And the best part? A single bottle lasts forever. I used to go through aerosol bottles every week or two, and this one just keeps going. A little truly goes a long way. My hair has never been happier. My hairdresser even noticed way less damage and asked what I switched to. It doesn’t leave that weird “white cast” like so many others do — it blends beautifully, feels clean, and leaves my hair looking fresh instead of chalky. I’ve already purchased this multiple times and will be a lifetime user. I’m so thrilled to finally have a cleaner, healthier product that actually works better than anything I’ve used before. Total game‑changer.

Was skeptical. I have tired a lot of dry shampoos and power ones as well, and this is hands down THE BEST. The dispenser is perfect comes out just right and the smells is sooo good. I’m obsessed, it smells like candy or something nostalgic, but this is so good will be my go to now!

I took a star off becusse it arrived with the lid popped off and some product on the box so I was concerned i received a used product. I emailed customer service asking for a return and they just offered me a refund. I decided to keep the product and it smells AMAZING. Would give the product itself 5/5
