Great Reliable Secondary Monitor
Using the ASUS XG27ACS as my second monitor next to a 4K OLED. Obviously, it doesn’t hit OLED levels, but the IPS panel is solid reliable, consistent, and the colors are great. IPS has always been a dependable choice. That said, feels a bit overpriced for what it is. If your PC can handle 1440p and you’re picky about image quality, might be worth stretching for an OLED. Burn-in used to be a concern, but a lot of OLEDs now come with 3-year burn-in warranties, so that helps. Overall, happy with it. Just wish it was priced a bit better.

Absolutely awful customer service — product got lines within 6 months
My monitor (6 months old) started showing problems and I sent it in for repair. It’s been more than two weeks and I’ve received zero updates from the company — no calls, no texts, nothing. Every time I contact support they give the same vague reply (“you’ll get a call within 7 days”) and nothing happens. This level of communication and service is unacceptable. If they can’t fix it, issue a full refund. I won’t buy from this brand again and I recommend avoiding this product.

video quality is below average
good gaming monitor and high refresh rate helps in gaming. however, the video quality when watching youtube and netflix is terrible. the colors are off no matter how much i tried to fix it,i have an Asus VG248QE 7 or 9 years old monitor and still better than this one

The jump to 1440p on this ROG Strix is incredible. The colors are super vibrant (133% sRGB), and the 180Hz refresh rate is buttery smooth for FPS games. I love the new stand design—it actually has a built-in phone holder slot and a tripod socket on top for my webcam. It doesn't have built-in speakers, but the picture quality and build more than make up for it. Best mid-range 1440p monitor out right now!

Great panel quality, minimal back light bleed and IPS glow on right side, not visible at all in pitch black room with very bright settings in normal use. Left side of panel has no glow or bleed. Very acceptable levels, IMO. Seems to be very lag free in the UFO test and in League of Legends. I can't see any blur in either, very responsive panel. The default racing mode seems to look the best out of all the options. I'd try that mode and set the brightness to 21 for a pitch black room, and raise it up to about 30 or so for a room with 1 lightbulb in it. SRGB mode looks good but the brightness is locked to 50 or so and it's too bright. There are a couple with a bright over-saturated look, and a few darker settings for cinema and FPS. All the modes look decent. Smoothest IPS panel I've ever looked at, Highly recommend.

Although they can be a bit pricy for my liking, ASUS products don't miss in my experience. Neither does this one. For 100$ off the original price, this monitor was a steal. It's OSD features multiple visual settings that can give your screen deep blacks like a VA while still providing the colorful visuals of an IPS. Brightness is great as well, even at 50% it's still more than adequate to see everything on screen. Its height and tilt adjust makes it great for desks with elevated monitor stands and people using chairs lacking adjustment capabilities. The buttons and tiny joystick behind it on the right side make the OSD easy to control and access. As far as gaming goes, it's great, however there is one hiccup I had. Turning on VRR made this monitor spewing bricks, the refresh rate kept changing so frequently that the monitor's upper half would flicker until I clicked a window that would make it stop, only for it to continue once more. Not sure if this is a monitor side issue or if I did something wrong on my end, but after endless troubleshooting I leaned towards the former and ultimately decided to turn it off. It's no big deal for me personally, I can still get 240FPS on the games I play that allow it. All things considered, I scored big time with this monitor, and if you choose it, so will you.
