This review is for the Roborock QV3a. After hearing my brother-in-law rave about his robot vacuum, I hesitantly bought this. I was hesitant because I had purchased one many years before, and it had been virtually useless. It only vacuumed, was loud with minimal suction, banging its way around and it constantly got clogged with debris and eventually ended up at Goodwill. This vacuum does a wonderful job both vacuuming and mopping, competing with models that cost three times as much. After creating four different maps, the first map, map with the 1st floor family room, kitchen and dining room room all on one level, I segregated an area of the kitchen that gets very dirty after cooking, to allow me to do a daily vacuuming and mopping of this area. The second map included a living room off of our raised entry hall. The third map included the raised tiled entry hall. The fourth map included the second level of the house, including three bedrooms and a large balcony.We have biweekly housekeeping, so most of yhe areas of the house, including a carpeted living room, tile entry hall, living room, 4 bedrooms and balcony, only require vacuuming as needed, often once in the week we don’t have housekeeping. After completing a cleaning of the whole house I was very impressed. It thoroughly cleaned including under furniture picking up an amazing amount of dust bunnies. Our regular vacuum did not fit under dressers, couch, couches, etc. Mopping the tile areas resulted in very clean floors. I did established some no go areas to keep the vacuum from hitting areas with a large number of cords. I also created no go areas under the beds and a couple dressers. Avoiding these areas, greatly speeds up the cleaning process. It is easy to establish no go areas. I can delete them a couple times a year to clean under furniture. I also put up an invisible line on the railing in our balcony, the robot did not see this as a wall, and it would feel its way along the railing, greatly slowing the cleaning process. The robot does seems to learn each time it cleans finding a more efficient way to clean. I also found that moving the chairs away from the dining room table slightly allowed the robot to clean under the table much faster. Our family room has a very large area rug in it with hardwood floors throughout. The robot was able to identify the rug area, mopping/vacuuming hardwood floors and vacuuming the area rug. The app is very intuitive easily allowing the establishment of no goes zones or invisible walls. To clean, simply restore the map for the area you want to clean, select the area you want to clean, and choose your cleaning mode of mopping, vacuuming, or both. It is very simple to use. When done the robot empties the dirty water, cleans the mopping pads, and empties the dust bin. I am very happy with my purchase. For anyone that wants to purchase a cleaning robot without spending $1000 or more, this is an excellent choice.

So far, so good! This vacuum accurately mapped the whole house and the app is quite easy to use it gives you editing capabilities to edit your map, control the water flow for mopping and the robot works really really well. It leaves the dock and goes exactly where you tell it to go and it cleans in a very precise pattern. I have tried other robot vacuuming mop Brands and this one so far has the most accurate mapping and the most complete vacuuming and mopping capabilities I have tried. I would definitely recommend this

This robot vacuum does it all! Vacuums, mops, self loading of mopping fluid, self emptying of dirty mop water and empties the dust in the vacuum into a bag on the docking station. The robot mapped by 2700 square-foot house in less than an hour, maybe less than a half an hour I really was not paying attention and then realized it was done. You can set it up to do whole house or specify specific rooms. You can set it up to vacuum or vacuum twice or vacuum/mop at the same time. fantastic! I’ve had this item for about three weeks and use it daily. Previous vacuum robots would get stuck under chairs, this one does not. If there isn’t room for the vacuum to pass, it does not go under that piece of furniture. Adjust height from hardwood floors to carpet. It also vacuums and mops my entire living area without having to recharge batteries. This may be the best money I’ve ever spent.

I'm impressed. After a not so great app experience with another popular brand, everything I've seen in the Roborock app has shown me things I didn't know I wanted. I can create routines involving sequences of actions different for each room or tell it to do something specific across rooms on demand. It also allows for spot cleaning where you specify a rectangle to clean somewhere in the house. This worked great after I dumped garlic powder on the ground. I had it vacuum THEN mop the spot in question. The battery life is great and while it can't clean an entire large house in a single run on higher suction settings, it's enough to keep the house clean when doing regular cleanings. It's quiet on the regular settings and not too loud on higher settings. The battery charges at about 20% an hour. I prefer to avoid mid cleaning cycle charges so I have a regular schedule I keep it on. The suction works well but I do have to use the higher settings to pick up the dirt and sand my kid tracks in. I don't consider that a negative though as it's just basic physics that tiny rocks take a lot to lift off the ground. As long as it can be sucked up off hard floor I'm happy. As for the mopping, I started out with hard flooring that only got mopped every 6 months. I benefitted from changing the mop cleaning to wash the mop every 10 minutes and the Deep+ setting to have it slow down with lots of overlap in its passes. It took 2 times to fully mop out marks on the floor. After that it was just a matter of slowing grinding away at the months of filth that were built up. That's to be expected versus dumping a few gallons of water on the ground and mopping with all my weight pushing into the floor. Now that the roborock mop has caught up on the filth, the floors have never been cleaner. Due to the water tanks, the whole thing can be considered bulky. Find a nice corner for it. I went with the white model and it blends in well enough with the walls.

Game changer!! My floors get vacuumed and mopped every 👏🏻 single 👏🏻 day 👏🏻 and all I do is press a button! Here’s what I love and why I bought this one specifically: 1. I already had a roborock that replaced our very old roomba last year. Roomba was great and went the distance, we had that thing for more than 10 years but the technology moves so fast and the suction wasn’t was it used to be a so we retired our faithfulness vacuum friend. When looking for a new one I was wanting vacuum only like the roomba was, but I wanted the self emptying feature and good suction. After looking around at all my options I grabbed a roborock as the reviews were good and so was the price. I love this robot!!! Love the app, love the quietness and etc. 10/10 no notes. Which leads us to point 2 👇🏻 2. I decided I needed to retire myself from mopping :) I had briefly owned a roomba that mopped in the early days of that technology and it really wasn’t worth the effort of setting it up, cleaning the pads, filling its little detachable head and baby sitting it so it didn’t leak on my floor or whatever. Wasn’t thrilled. But the technology has grown by leaps and bounds in the last 10 years as the new roborock showed me so I decided to give it a try. I went looking at roborock as I was happy with my upstairs vacuum-only vacuum and was already familiar with the app functionality and all. I waited for a sale during the holidays and went for it. Now to the review 👇🏻 3. It’s SO quiet. It cleans SO well. It is very smart. It is very low maintenance on my end, I just empty and rinse the dirty canister every couple of days and refill the clean one. I love used it daily since I purchased it on Boxing Day and each time I feel like a spoiled brat. No more crunchies on the floors, no more marks from bare feet or dog feet, cooking etc, just clean floors every single day for the time commitment of a water refill. I’m sold 100 times over. About me: hubby and three kids, all their friends, two scruff-shedding dogs, medium sized townhouse with two levels, bottom level is laminate with area rugs, top is all carpet. The battery on the upstairs vacuum-only gets low doing 4 bedrooms, the hallway and the bathrooms but doesn’t run out. The battery on the downstairs one doing the vacuum/mop get to maybe 50% battery and cleans the whole place in about an hour, with mop pad cleans between each room. I really like this machine, it’s one of those spends that feels frivolous and made me nervous but now that I have it I would make the decision again. I legit only need to vacuum my stairs now, what the heck, so much time for activities.

Amei! Faz o trabalho direitinho, limpa bem, até melhor que minha funcionária. Bem fácil de mexer no app, estava com medo que fosse muito complexo, mas ele fez a leitura do "mapa" da casa, e tem várias funcionalidades legais, como selecionar apenas o ambiente que quer limpar, qual a intensidade de aspiração, pano mais ou menos úmido...realmente vale o investimento.

¿Por dónde empezar? Siempre dudé en comprar un robot de limpieza. Anteriormente tuve uno, de los económicos, y no me fue mal, pero le faltaban muchas cosas porque vivo en una casa de dos pisos, no encontraba la base a veces, etc. Hoy te puedo decir que después de mucho investigar, este Roborock es una maravilla, la app es fácil de usar, prácticamente no tienes que armar nada, la aspiradora se conecta sin problemas al wifi, el mapeo es sencillo... Amigos, recomendado ampliamente. Primero, llegó un día antes de la fecha prevista (se agradece demasiado). Como mencioné, solo fue poner la base para que se subiera la aspiradora y listo, no hay más que armar. Colocas agua en el tanque de agua limpia y viene una bolsa ya colocada en donde vacía el polvo. La app es fácil de usar, de inmediato pude configurar el robot y sincronizarlo al wifi mediante las instrucciones. Ya una vez listo, tienes que dejar cargando el robot para después hacer el mapeo del piso (guarda hasta 4 mapas o plantas). El mapeo... Levanta todo lo que tengas en el piso para que sea eficiente y rápido, abre las puertas de los cuartos que te interesa limpiar... Cuando acabe el mapa, es fácil hacer la división en la app entre sala, comedor, cocina, pasillos, etc. Colocas los muebles que tengas, colocas paredes invisibles, entre otras cosas y listo. Te recomiendo primero que mandes aspirar una o dos veces antes de que trapeé. Mi piso es difícil, queda opaco y se nota si está mal trapeado, tuve que probar un par de veces la opción de solo trapear (o fregar, como aparece en la app) y tuve que personalizar la cantidad de agua a muy baja para que quedara perfecto. No sirve para evitar la limpieza profunda, mantiene muy (sí, muy) limpio, pero las esquinas no quedan tan bien, y cuando hay manchas en el piso, con una servilleta húmeda se puede quitar antes de mandar trapear. Además, faltaría limpiar la parte de las paredes invisibles y zonas prohibidas. Se puede programar la limpieza (qué maravilla), lo puedes poner a solo aspirar, solo trapear, aspirar y trapear, modo de IA y rutinas, limpiar todo, por habitaciones, zonas, y cada cosa con la fuerza de aspirado, nivel de humedad de las mopas, si quieres que dea rápido, normal, profundo o muy profundo, etc. Estamos pensando en comprar otro roborock, de verdad hace las cosas extremadamente bien! Una vez que lo tengas, sinceramente, no te arrepentirás, es una inversión fuerte, pero vale cada centavo. No hay nada mejor que al levantarte por las mañana ver todo limpio.

Lo amo. Todos dicen lo mismo y aún así tenía mis dudas pero mi piso jamás había estafo tan limpio y tengo dos gatos, uno de ellos de pelo largo. Ya puedo caminar descalzo sin temer a pisar arena, y si tengo el infortunio de que aún me suceda puedo mandar a limpiar zonas en específico. Es genial. Pero hay que mencionar que también tiene sus problemas y casi todos son con los mapas y su edición. Le cuesta trabajo hacer un mapa de las habitaciones, especialmente si no dejas todas las puertas abiertas y se quita la mayor cantidad de obstáculos posibles. Pero si haces todo bien desde un inicio, el mapeo es bastante sencillo y efectivo. Y si bien el trapeado no entrega un resultado comparable con un pulido, ciertamente no quedan residuos de polvo, tierra o arena de gato, así que el piso se siente completamente liso. Los repuestos son un poco caros, pero los puedes encontrar baratos en Alien Expresso.

After 8months of use: GREAT. WORTH IT. NOT PERFECT BUT STILL WORTH IT. I have a dog that sheds and live a busy life. This thing saved me sooo much time and actually does the cleaning very well. I rely on it and can enjoy my life a little bit more. And plus, not having to vaccum and mop manually just saves my lower back - it hurts so much from the bending. The honest review - NOT PERFECT BUT STILL 5-STAR The obstacle navigation is just okay. Carpet cleaning is also okay. The truth is, with obstacle navigation you still do need to lift stuff off the floor for it to operate at its best. However, wherever it reaches - i live in a big house - it does clean very well - the mopping is a plus and very thorough - it applies enough pressure to get stains off. But the condition precedent is, the vaccum has to actually reach where you want to clean. Which means, pick things up from the floor before starting the machine. About the smell - when managed well, this unit won't stink like some of you claimed it did in the reviews, AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. You do need to clean the unit twice a month. CLEAN YOUR MOP PADS EVERYTIME AFTER YOU MOP THE FLOOR.
