Vevor stud welder dent repair kit is a great tool! Many great accessories, easy storage, easy to use, and makes my job a lot easier. If I had to change anything it would be the "ground clamp). Other than that I would love to upgrade to the newer version. I would definitely recommend it!!

why are there so many good reviews about thist unit, i could not get it to work even close to what i expected, it had no power could not shrink the carbon rod would not get hot at all also it would not weld hot enough to make the spot stick so constantly pulling off of metal with no dent removal, this type of machine you realy get what you pay for spend the money you will have a unit that at least works as it is supposed to.

I was at first disappointed in the way this machine wouldn't weld strong to the metal on my pickup. I made sure the metal was good and clean and shiny, but the welds wouldn't hold very good at all. But after about to give up on it, I found that the metal on the body of my automobile has a galvanized coating on it, so even though I had the paint all off of it, the galvanization was what was preventing a good weld. After sanding through the galvanization the machine worked really good. It is way faster than a stud welder. The only thing is the instruction manual is vague and useless, so you'll need to watch a video on youtube to figure out how to use it.

This unit made me a excellent body repair man the only trick I found for the weld to stick is u have to make sure u get all the metal treatment of metal i use automotive paint stripper to get metal treatment off to bear then every time sticks to metal no misfires at all now I have 2 of them both of mine are vevor I have inferred light everything from them thanks vevor

Ground is a pain in the ass. Wont stick to the panel. Why not include a ground clamp. Once its grounded it doesnt stay on long enough for the puller to stick. Once it sticks the ground comes off. Chinese garbage!!! If you dont use it enough i do not recommend it for the home hobby shop. You wont have enough time to return this pos. You only get 30 days. Might use it to hold the garage door open. Thats all its good for.
