Great set & great customer service!
This is a high quality and heavy granite mortar and pestle with just the right amount of roughness to do the job. I received the set as a gift and noticed a chip in the head of the larger pestle during the seasoning process. That is the only reason I did not give five stars. I have requested a replacement pestle and will re-rate when/if I receive a replacement. ChefSofi responded to my request within 24 hours and just a few days later I received a replacement pestle. Very impressive. I highly recommend this set. Not only is is very functional, it's also beautiful. And, the customer service is the best I've experienced. Very impressed. Totally worth five stars!

Really good product
This product is AWESOME. I am amazed by how heavy/sturdy it is and the pestle made muddling a pineapple no work at all compared to what I was doing! A really solid product!

Mortar and pestle review
Exactly as described, very nice item. Very clear instructions for cleaning and seasoning the stone and how to use it. Just the right size. Very well packaged and Shipping came in ahead of schedule. Very pleased and I would recommend this item

Pestel broke very quickly. But extremely kind and willing to help me get it replaced
Update: This was a great set, great size and I loved it. Only problem is I used it 3 times and the bigger pestel started to chip and then broke in half at the handle so if its possible to buy the pestles separately. I'd say buy them elsewhere so far the mortar seems ok. I thought the quality was better from most of the reviews but now im not sure if i just happened to get a bad piece. But broken after 3 uses is pretty lame. Using these are a staple in our culture and hard to find around my area i had high hopes with this and with the amount of money spent on it.so thats why I give it a 2 star. They reached out to me and were very kind and willing to help me get the pestle replaced. So decided to go ahead snd try this second time. I appreciate how kind and willing they were to help. So I will find out on whether, maybe it was just a bad batch and I can see how long it will last me.

It’s well made and can be used to crush anything!
This is a great utensil! It’s big enough to make guacamole, crush garlic and many other things. I actually used it to make mofongo! Ummmmm, Yammy! :)

very nice mortar and pestle. the rice is very hard so it will take some time to grind it up to a powder.
