Powerful, Reliable, and a Game-Changer for Grooming!
Right out of the box you can tell these are built for serious use. The 600W motor is powerful and cuts through thick hair like butter without tugging or bogging down. I used them on my horse and they handled the job effortlessly. The 6 adjustable speeds are a huge plus. I start slow for sensitive areas and crank it up for the bulk of the coat. The ergonomic design made long sessions much more comfortable than I expected, and the noise/vibration level is surprisingly low for a heavy duty machine. My animals stayed calm the entire time. Also, the kit comes with everything you need to get started like oil, brush, and a solid carrying case. Maintenance is simple and cleaning the blades takes just a few minutes. Highly recommended for anyone with livestock or thick coated animals!

Worked well for me.
My 19 year old horse refused to shed his winter coat- not excessively long or curly and not displaying any other Cushing’s symptoms, but maybe headed that way? This was our first go at full body clipping, but I’ve watched plenty of other people do it. These clippers took his hair off in record time. Yes, they are noisy and they got hot, but no worse than others I have seen. I tranquillized him to start since it was new for him, but even after that wore off the noise didn’t bother him. I stopped every 5 to 7 minutes to brush the hair off of them and check the vents were clean and apply more Cool Lube, and I had to stop three times for about 10 minutes to let them cool off, but I was running them on 6 the whole time. I did not find them to be unusually heavy or cumbersome, but I was going for function more than fashion. If this turns out to be an annual event (or more), I would not hesitate to buy a second pair so I could switch them out to cool. At this price I think it would be worth it.

So far so good
Seems ok so far. Kinda gives me the feeling that these wouldn't hold up to a long time use. They do heat up fairly quick and need to allow for cooling time. I could only trim 1/2 of a goat before having to wait for the clippers to cool down. The motor gave a few "weak struggling" sounds that made me think this probably isn't gonna last all season. But, hopefully I'm wrong.

Efficient
This scissors worked great, we cut close to the skin and it was a very smooth cut with no problems, it worked great and every sheep was cut very quickly. Efficient and very happy with this groomer, great price! I highly recommend.

Gets the job done, but takes time due to heat.
These work well for bodyclipping my draft mare, but they overheat pretty easily even with cooling aids. So I feel like everything takes a really long time due to breaks for the clippers to cool down.

Gets Hot!
Product does a great job clipping but it does get hot. After trimming on my horse for 30 minutes I noticed the horse began to get jumpy. I touched the blade to my arm to see if it was warm and the picture is of what happened.

Sturdy and good quality
VKdemer clippers are sturdy and well made. They are a bit heavy. They stay cool for a good amount of time during shaving compared to other clipper’s. The large blade enables large body clipping. See Overall they are a nice clipper and fast for body shaving of the horses.

Buy these for horses with feathers
My Shire has heavy feathers and he had bacterial infection so his hair had to be removed. These would do the job when others died.
