>>If you read nothing else read this!<< This cabinet is about 40" tall which is a touch taller than a typical kitchen cabinet. This is a great height for a coffee bar or a serving buffet. Many cabinets here on Amazon look tall but are actually in the 30" range. Before you buy any buffet or coffee bar, check that the height is what works for you. If you get nothing else from this review take that information and test out your area and make sure it is tall enough! This cabinet is great. I took my time and enjoyed the assembly process. Building it on my work table to was quite easy and assembled similar to IKEA type furniture. The box arrived in less than perfect shape and weighed as much as a small moon. Opening it revealed the best flat packing job I have ever seen. Very impressive! My wife and I immediatlely moved many kitchen bits to this cabinet and our small apartment kitchen doubled in available space. Totally worth is! Now we can make coffee and tea outside the kitchen while someone else is in the kitchen. The finish is painted and the brown top is a laminate material. It is not going to fool you into thinking it is wood. But it won't stain like wood and is easy to wipe clean. Most of the parts are medium grade particle board not MDF. Some parts are MDF but it is of little consequence. Technically using these materials is kinder to the environment than using solid wood but some people will be turned off by the material. After full assembly and loading up the cabinet is very stable and does include a clever way of attaching it to the wall. I did not use it. The shelves are stable enough for light duty and the drawers are slightly better than other cabinets I have seen. Each drawer has a brace on the bottom to improve strength and rigidity. Overall this is an attractive solution to extending a small kitchen into the dining room. It looks nice, feels decent and matches most decor well. I think for the price, this is going to be the one most people will benefit from the most. I can see this lasting a decade or more with mature users not abusing it.

I bought 2 of them and put them side by side. They were easy to put together, but it was a bit time consuming. Overall they seem to be great quality and I have had no issues. All of the parts were there and nothing was damaged despite the box looking mangled when it arrived. Everything was packaged well.

This cabinet is very sturdy when constructed; and heavy. It is pretty easy to put together but it will take at least 2 hours to do so. My wife and I did it in about 2.5 hours at a fairly leisurely pace. The instructions are stellar and super easy to follow for the most part. It's surprisingly a really great cabinet for the price -- far better than what you would expect at this price point.

Absolutely in love with this sideboard! It took a while to put together, wasn’t difficult but was time consuming. Very sturdy and looks great in our kitchen. Exactly what I was looking for.

One shelf was broken so I can’t use this. Will be returning. Update: Seller sent me a replacement panel for the one that came cracked. Once my husband put it together, it is really sturdy other than the back panels being a bit thin. It works great for my coffee bar and has extra storage beneath. Shelves are adjustable but even at the top height, I had to separate the tops from the base on larger appliances like blenders and food processor. I was replacing a family heirloom buffet until it can be refurbished. Of course the quality isn’t the same but at this price point, I’d definitely recommend. It seems as if it will hold up well.

Wasn't too difficult to put together. Good clear instructions and all the parts labeled wonderfully. Product is sturdy and beautiful and holds lots of items

This is a great piece of furniture. Easy to assemble. Great height.

Seems very sturdy and the color is pretty and dimensional. The shelves inside the cabinets are adjustable to 3 different levels. It takes a while to put together, but the cabinet doors and the drawers all fit snugly and straight! I use mine as a coffee bar. It is deep enough for a ninja coffee maker and Nespresso with plenty of storage.
