I received the package this morning. The first thing I noticed was that the shipping box was very sturdy and after opening it, noticed that the parts were packed nicely and protected well. The assembly instructions were very clear and after reading them a couple of times and identifying the 6 sides of the box from the illustrations, I got my rubber mallet and was able to put it together in about 15 minutes. A rubber mallet makes the job go faster. First, identify the two sides (these have the handles and are identical). Attach these to the back (or front) piece, using the rubber mallet to gently pound the pieces into place. The front and back pieces are identical except that the front piece has a place at the center of the top where the latch will be attached and the back piece has places at the top where the hinges of the lid will fit. It doesn't matter whether you do the front or back piece first. Next, flip it over and attach the front (or back) piece, using the rubber mallet. You now have the four sides connected. Flip it over so the bottom is at the top. Identify the piece that is the bottom of the box and attach it to the four sides, again using the rubber mallet. Flip it over so the bottom is resting on the floor. There is now only one remaining piece which is the lid. Attach the latches to the lid and to the front piece of the box with a Phillips screwdriver, following the illustrations. Snap the hinges of the lid into place in the top of the back piece and there you have it--a very nice patio storage box.

At least most of one, if you pack carefully. Unusually clear directions with only pictures. Easy to put together. Definitely rain proof, also looks bug proof. Lockable. Solid enough for a 230lb person to sit or stand on. Manageable size to easily move. Will buy another if I need an additional deck box. Paper towel roll for size reference.

A little tricky to assemble, but when I finally got A into B, then the rest assembled quickly. Used it to clean up the pile of flower pots, hose fittings, sprinklers, and garden tools on the front porch. It looks so much better than before. Money well spent.

Goes together easy

We wanted a small box to set beside our inflatable hot tub to hold the supplies and double as a table for towels or drinks. This size was perfect and it is working really well. It came packaged very securely & was easy to assemble. Love it!

Perfect for using as a package drop at my back door. Waterproof. Great size. Attractive. Has a lock too, though you can't see it from the street. We mainly wanted something that was waterproof. Reasonable price.
