Clairol Root Touch-Up Temporary Concealing Powder, Dark Brown Hair Color, Pack of 1

This product works super well to cover up those sneaky gray hairs that just appear out of nowhere. I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked! A little goes a long way and it will last a long time..unless you have a lot to cover up lol. But even then, it does a great job of covering up a decent area with just a few swipes of the brush. It doesn't come off after wearing a hat, so that's a plus too. I recommend it.

This is an awesome concealing powder! It's the ONLY root-touch up product that covers my gray hairs, including the eye brows. It's super easy to apply, and it holds on throughout the day. It's not sticky like the Clairol spray-on root coverup, which has to be showered off at the end of the day. This is a nice, light powder. It comes off easily with a wet cloth, at the end of the day. Normally, I don't recommend products to friends, but I Iove it so much that I showed one of my friends how it works, and she's going to buy it for herself.

I felt a little silly ordering this but I have more gray than I'd like around my temples. This is almost like an eye shadow pan with a longer brush. Easy to use and apply. Looks natural and lasts a long time. Absolutely worth what you pay for. I will say it's not for a full head or a large area. Better for small patches or areas.

I have very white hair but continue to have it dyed a medium brown close to my younger original color. Want to wait until my kids are out of college to embrace having white hair 😁 This does a nice job in between hair appointments. It’s not as heavy or sticky as the Clairol & L’Oreal spray touch-ups but also not as effective at covering growth when it’s closer to have it colored again, so I use this when the needed growth coverage is somewhat minimal or when I just want to add a little extra camouflage close to my face. All in all a good product that I would buy again.

My mind says that I’m too young to be solid gray, but my the roots of my hair beg to differ! My hair grows SO fast that I really need to dye it every 3 weeks, but I try to push it out as close to 6 weeks as I can to minimize the damage. But, that means I have to spend a miserable 3 weeks with an embarrassing stripe of gray at the top of my light brown hair. Then I found this powder and decided to give it a try. It really works! I admit that I haven’t been caught out in the rain yet to see how it holds up, but normal every day use has been great. It looks very natural and covers the gray, matching my (dyed) hair color perfectly. Put it on carefully with the included brush and make sure you only get it on the actual hair, not your skin. I usually style my clean hair first, then add the touch up powder and brush my hair as needed throughout the day. It doesn’t rub off on your hands, brush or clothes. I’m a believer!

Light brown is NOT light! I put this on my eyebrows and it was almost black! Completely useless for my light brown hair! I gave it three stars because it is otherwise a good product…goes on smooth and lasts all day on brows. (Have not tried it on my roots…too dark)

I have very dark brown black hair but at my age I do have thinning where my white scalp shows through. I have tried so many different touchup products for roots but this one actually works. It is so easy to apply and is not messy, and it is a game changer for me. I have re-ordered it.

I've used this product for years and much prefer it to a root touch up spray. Easy to apply and enables me very good cover between colours. Better value than comparable products.

Doesn’t work. A total waste of money!!!!!!! Do not buy!

Arrived today. Uses straight away. Impressed. Easy to apply. Love it for touch ups between hairdressers.
