Ok this is the truth about this unit. Iโm always looking for a good budget deal. This is one of them with a bit of extra work on the install. First of all the sound is great. The touch response lags a bit but not till you get the hang of the unit. Now to get into the install. When installing this unit you might notice that after everything is properly installed, that the owners manual wonโt mention, is that if the screen is not always connected to the unit; the unit will still turn on without the screen. Now if you connect the screen while it is on then the screen will not work properly. Meaning it will not show picture. You have to cycle through the power with the screen connected to get it to work again. Meaning turn car off and then on again with screen. Now there is a fix to this. This requires a toggle switch witch I installed on the red accessorie wire. ON side goes to stereo and OFF side goes to wire harness to vehicle. This will allow you to turn car on first. Then connect the screen and then hit the toggle switch to ON and then your unit will turn on. Another issue I found was that I installed a mini dvd/cd/mp3 device to the AV input in the back of the head unit and found one issue. The issue was since this unit outputs 4 volts there is engine noise on the head unit only on my AV input. Every other source has no issues. My fix for that was using a noise filter on the audio AV inputs. I used a PAC SNI-1 RCA Ground Loop Noise Isolator and it eliminated the noise completely. Furthermore if you want to bypass the parking break wire just connect it to the stereo ground. Finally one last thing I did to the unit was make it into wireless CarPlay. You can do this by buying a wireless CarPlay usb adapter from Codonova witch you install on the USB that says CarPlay. So Iโve given you everything to make this a great budget deal. Overall I bought the unit at $125, the mini dvd was $35,the toggle switch was $15, and the wireless CarPlay adapter was$30. Total $205 before taxes is the cheapest and best price your money. Now I installed this myself witch I saved some money. Hope this helps anyone out there that gave up on this unit.

So far this unit looks and sounds great. I have this installed in my 2000 Vw beetle. Eventually I hookup the microphone for the phone, backup camera, and apple car play functions.
