This hairline touch up powder works amazingly well. It blends naturally with my hair color and instantly covers thinning areas and grays along the hairline. The powder is lightweight, not sticky and doesnot make my hair look fake or oily.It stays in place all day and washes out easily with shampoo. Super easy to apply even for beginners. Great for quick touch ups before going out. Definitely recommend.

This is an amazing hair product. It works exactly as described. The color match is perfect. I used it on grey roots in the top of my hair and it covered instantly. It only took me about 60 seconds to use. I was doubtful before I bought it, but decided to try it. Absolutely excellent results.

Great coverage and stays on overnight. Much easier to apply and less messy than the others I've used. I can touch my hair and scalp and it doesn't get under my nails. The ash brown mixed with grey blends well under my ash brown/blonde tones. Only wish they had more color selections. The blonde is too orangish for my shade. Also the sponge is awkward with the way the lid is attached. I use the smaller sponge with a handle left over from another product. It seems like a small amount, though it takes less to cover than others, so we'll see how long it lasts. Edited to add: The bottom of the container already shows through, so it is not lasting very long considering I mix two colors together. Though I like it better, I may go back to the previous product which lasts up to a year.

This is the best root color powder I have ever used! It's far better (and much cheaper) than the color wow brand. It only takes a little bit for full coverage and the auburn shade is perfect. With other brands "red" shades, my roots still looked significantly darker & didn't blend. It's better if you I a small brush for root coverage instead of the sponge provided.

💁‍♀️ Product Review: Boldify Hairline & Scalp Powder (Light Brown, Sample Kit) I’ve used a different scalp powder for years, but this is my first time trying Boldify. I’m covering pale scalp spots along my hairline and a couple of thin areas that show through my bangs. This product worked shockingly well. --- ✅ What I Like - Perfect color match. I used the Light Brown shade from the darker‑blonde sample kit, and the match is unbelievably accurate—better than any product I’ve tried. - Sample kits are fantastic. For about $10, you get four shades to test. This saved me from buying full‑size colors that wouldn’t match. - Dense, opaque coverage. It fills in pale scalp areas instantly and hides thin spots in minutes. - Cheapest price per ounce compared to the other products I’ve used (Joan Rivers Great Hair Day and Clairol Root Touch‑Up powder). - Not itchy so far. My old Joan Rivers powder was noticeably itchy and messy. This one hasn’t caused any irritation yet. - No mess around the shower drain after the first couple uses, unlike the Joan Rivers product. - Works well with colored hair. My natural hair is dark blonde turning gray, but I color it with L’Oreal Light Amber Brown and use Clairol root touch‑up in light brown. This Boldify Light Brown blends perfectly with that routine. - Applies smoothly and gives very natural‑looking results, especially under bangs where perfection isn’t required. --- ❌ What I Don’t Like - The sample‑kit container doesn’t fit the applicator. The sponge applicator just sits loose on the side, which is annoying—but the sample kit is temporary, so not a big deal. - Not sure I love the sponge applicator. It works, but I might switch to a brush (like the one that comes with Joan Rivers Great Hair Day). - Still need to test long‑term wear. I’ll see how it holds up over several days, through sweating, and between washes. - Some shades lean slightly auburn. My Light Brown has a hint of red, which works for me, but others may prefer a more neutral brown—there are plenty of options though. --- ⭐ Summary & Rating This Boldify scalp powder is incredibly impressive—perfect color match, dense coverage, affordable, and easy to apply. The sample kits make choosing the right shade foolproof. Aside from minor applicator quirks, this is easily the best scalp powder I’ve tried so far. 5 stars.

This is a good product…BUT…they are charging way too much for what you are getting. I’ve used concealers for years. Toppik has been my faithful. Looks great but undeniably messy. So when I discovered Boldify’s product I was thrilled mainly with the application process. However, after about five uses the product in the center erodes leaving the perimeter which is nearly impossible to get onto the applicator, rendering it useless. You can use a q-tip or a tooth pick but that breaks it into clumps which is unusable. So the product is already small in amount. About a third is impossible to use. And they are charging double what other similar products are charging. In fact I just received from a different company on Amazon two for $8. Search and you’ll find it. Greed is the only word that comes to mind. They are counting on you being so desperate to hide your thinning that you’ll pay anything. I reject this premise. Their container should be twice the size to justify the price and they need to get back into the lab and figure out how to make all of it usable. Until then I say pass. I’m attaching pics of the product (notice the cup next to it). That is a typical bathroom rinse cup. You’ll see how much product gets left behind. And you’ll see my hair. I’m enclosing it because it’s not as if I require a ton of product. I have most of my hair still but use a concealer to fill in the gaps. I apply it when my hair is mostly dry. I part my hair four different times and apply to the parted areas. If you have significant loss of hair you’d only use this twice before running into the problem I and I imagine every user does.

Listen, I have used so many root/thinning spot cover ups and this is the best I have found. I am 57 and fight both root coverage and thinning hair! So much fun!!! This is so easy to use and the coverage is amazing. It looks natural and does not "bleed". If you are looking for something that gives you some confidence and makes life easy, I highly recommend giving this a try. For reference, my natural color is medium brown, and this matches great!

Love this product, does exactly what it says, covers bald spots, adds colour and it’s so easy and quick to use with no mess .

My hair is mostly white, and I use this product to achieve a salt-and-pepper look, where most of my hair appears black while some strands remain white. Traditional hair dyes don't give me this effect; they turn all my hair black and take a lot of time to prepare and apply. This product, on the other hand, is quick and easy to use, and it doesn't leave any stains on my skin. I just apply a small amount in the center of the area and use the brush to spread it evenly. The only downside is that if I scratch my head, I find black residue under my nails, and it also leaves black marks on my pillow. Despite that, I still love it. Thank you!
