These bird Hammocks are fantastic. I was kinda bummed at the price but now I think they are worth the price. The item is as simple as two bolted pieces of wood and a cloth fabric. They are washable (I just allow to air dry) and after 6 months they still look pretty good. I do appreciate that they are a simple product, that if necessary I can actually sew my own replacement hammock without incurring too much extra cost. They are soft to the touch and my birds all sleep peacefully in the hammocks. The birds enjoy the soft fabric that is on top. I don't think I would recommend these for the "winter" months. I reside in Florida for 7 months (mostly in the winter) and these do no provide the birds with any warmth - they do allow air to circulate so these Hammocks are used primarily in the summer/warm months. I do have most insulated "houses" for the birds for winter. I would highly recommend these Hammocks as the birds appreciate them, as do I. They are a simplistic item that i know my birds appreciate.

I love this item. My budgies lay in it/on it all the time. Great to keep them comfortable, warm and happy.

Our Quaker Parrot loves it! He hangs out on the top of it throughout the day and at night he crawls in the lower, hanging section, to sleep. Of course he also likes to chew on it from time to time but for the fairly reasonable price we don't have a problem replacing it with a new one. The "installation" if you will is very simple and allows you to make it fit really any enclosure that has gaps no larger than about 3/4", otherwise the washers will most likely fall through.

So nice easy to clean, soft, and easy to put together, after watching my bird destroy several houses and huts this was the perfect solution, shipping took longer than expected but was worth the wait. Mater gives this a 4.5 star review (he doesn't like to wait he's an impatient bird) lol

Our budgies LOVE their “bunk beds” so much we bought two so they’re not without it one goes into the laundry. Fortunately our birds don’t mind pluck or eat the fluffy material, but if yours tends to do this I’m not sure I would recommend it. We have also looked out for any nesting/hormonal reactions to this type of bedding and haven’t had any issues for the year they’ve had this set up. It’s great for chillier days as a little snuggle den.

Soft material, easy to clean by first budgie love it. But the "pouch" isn't big enough for a small budgie (parakeet) to fit in Sadly

This is not safe for birds since they will bite and it and get stuck in the strings. Very dangerous.

What a nice little bird bed for our Quaker Parrot. Well made and easy to put up, what really is nice about this is the quality of the sewing (even after a few weeks there is no loose threads or holes - and our Quaker is quite destrutive of material), but what I like best is the ease of cleaning. It slides off the front posts easily and can be brushed clean of food debris, waste and droppings. Then a wipe with a damp cloth and it's like new again. If you have a parrot, you know what a mess they can make, but this makes it so easy to deal with. Our Quaker has also taken to it for his bed at night and he can actually sit/lay down and not have to always balance on perches. Highly recommend
