Brilliant value. Very easy set up. Has everything.
I was new to looking for a Smart TV so took my time on reviews etc. This one is Simple to set up. Has all the apps built in like netflix YouTube prime and BBC iPlayer (even though the details said I'd have to download iPlayer). Plus Freeview (called Freely with it's own remote button). I have an android phone so I can access more apps via the Google Play store plus I can sign in across all devices. Connection to WiFi was very easy. I have an aerial so I used that to connect to channels but you can use WiFi. There's a menu of choices to connect to that and download channels. In short, cheap and great quality. Sounds and picture fab. I bought 32". Has central stand so very easy to place in small table. Very pleased.

Sharp 32FH8KA 32 inch Full HD Smart LED TV Freeview Play
nice picture, good sound - frameless is not relevant nor is smart tv so it is not connected to the internet - I like terrestrial tv and use a humax PVR Fox T2 - which has far better software than the Sharp which was frustrating to set up as the expected Install Retune words do not appear so finding those options is not fun nor did it find the Wenvoe transmitter in Wales - it just presented a fractured West service although strangely after a few days of the T2 showing it how , the Sharp downloaded Wenvoe without a hitch - One thing I do like is the screensavers - the art and photographs that appear on the tv screen when I switch the T2 off. I wanted a 32" TV to fit a specific space and this one was a good price.

Great Tv
Great smart tv, setting up took a bit of time but at the end everything was good. The picture quality and the sound is ok. The extra buttons on the remote for youtube and netflix was so convenient. The only thing i didnt like was the power button on the tv, it is located on the back on the bottom where you have to stick your finger under the tv to look for it, but once you get used to it then its ok.

Fantastic
Amazing for £199. Remote is solid not flimsy. Has all the smart features like latest youtube where you can adjust speed. Sound is fantastic. Picture (fullHD 1080p) is great for this size and also works great with a PC/laptop/macbook. You won't get a better smart TV 32" in 2024 for this price and if there is a £300 one out there it won't be worth the extra £100. It is very responsive, but with any TV you buy now expect it to be relatively slow in a few years which is when you buy a smart stick. That's what the hdmi ports are for. If you want a 'better' TV you'll need to invest in a bigger TV. If you want a great 32" get this one.

Not as good as it makes out.
Brought this TV in Sept 2024, have struggled with its slow to start and move through the menus, other wise it picture and sound are reasonably good

Amazing Picture & Sound!
I needed a new, inexpensive HD television to replace an old one that had broken. I have a technical background, so it falls to me to do things like setting up the television for the best viewing experience which I have a good eye for. I’m happy to do this on a more expensive and advanced tv, but with a cheaper tv, I’d rather it already be set up to plug in and play (which was the case with the old one) because they seldom come with sophisticated enough controls to manually achieve a really good picture. I recently purchased the RCA equivalent to this Sharp tv, plugged it in, saw that the picture was rubbish, so fiddled with it a bit (which I really didn’t want to do), and ended up putting it back in the box, and sending it back to Amazon. With this Sharp tv, I plugged it in, and the picture is absolutely stunning! Requiring no adjustments whatsoever! Also, the sound from this cheap little tv is phenomenal! It even has a two band equaliser that allows you to adjust treble and bass! You just don’t get this on tv’s at this price point. Unfortunately, I cannot speak as to the functionality of any of the smart components as I just needed an HD tv, running 1080p which I have connected to my Sky box, but based on the effort Sharp has put into the picture and sound quality, I imagine the smart components will be absolutely fine. it appears most tv’s are smart these days, so I just randomly picked this one, and hoped that the picture quality would be good, but in fact, it’s exceptional! And the great sound was an unexpected bonus! I highly recommend!!

Lag is driving me bananas
I don't think I've regretted a purchase so much in my life. Laggy doesn't even begin to describe how slow this TV is. It can take more than 30 seconds to come on from the time it's powered on. Many apps (particularly Disney+) are almost unwatchable. I foolishly thought it might have been my internet service provider so I change provider and from wired to wireless services and nothing has changed. I should have known it wasn't the network connectivity though, because sometimes it takes a many as 5-6 seconds for the TV to register that I've turned the volume up or down, a very basic infrared control. How have they managed to over-engineer a TV to make a volume control laggy? The only upside is that using the TV is so infuriating that I only turn it on now if I have a specific intention to watch something. I turn to reading or podcast listening far more often than I ever used to. I'm sure eventually I'll have to scrap it and get a new TV, but since I've had this one for under a year, it feels like a criminal waste of money and electrical resources to give up in under 12 months. I don't even feel like I can give it away, because why would I inflict this TV on someone else? Once you've managed to get it on, and if you can get it to play something smoothly, the picture quality is good as is the sound. No complaints about that.
