Good wee device
Bought this as a friend’s kid was in a hospital ward for several weeks where her mum and dad’s mobile network had a terrible 4G reception (so when she tried to play her online games on her tablet via their hotspot it didn’t work). We tried from my network when I was in visiting and it worked great so I got her a data SIM for my network and bought this device to put the SIM in (as opposed to her dad having to change his phone contact to my network). It worked really well. You just insert the sim and turn it on and then connect to it like you would your home WiFi (username and password are are provided). Meant she could play Roblox and other games which made the whole hospital experience a lot less stressful for her parents. Couldn’t comment on range, but certainly would well from up to 4 or 5 metres away no problem. Battery lasts well and can be powered from mains or a power bank. Really easy to set up and fits in the palm of your hand. Would recommend.

A nice little hotspot but with a few niggles.
I mislaid my old hotspot and this was a replacement but I wish I had bought the next model up because the design of this one is slippery and easily falls off things, the SIM card slot is difficult to use, and there are no function buttons on the device. The charging socket is also Micro USB instead of Type C, which is a further disappointment. Having said that, the battery lasts longer, and connectivity is still excellent, so I will be keeping it. It was also a lot cheaper. These hotspots provide a great way to have an internet connection when you are not close to a wireless network. I use mine on trains, camping and in cafes to give me a more secure connection.

My Go-To for Reliable Portable Internet
This TP-Link 4G LTE MiFi has been a solid bit of kit for me, going from a stand-in for home broadband to a faithful companion on cabin getaways. It's handled everything from demanding marketing and IT work with four devices connected to just streaming music for a couple of phones, and it's kept pace admirably. Speed and battery life are key here, and whilst it's 4G, it delivers a perfectly decent connection for my day-to-day tasks. Battery-wise, I'm looking at around seven hours, which is pretty good for a full day out, and the fact I can use it while it's charging is a definite bonus. Setting it up with a Smarty SIM was a doddle, and it holds its own for signal strength right alongside my mobile phone. There haven't been any faffy issues, and it's proved to be good value. While I'm eyeing up a future 5G upgrade for that extra bit of oomph, this 4G MiFi has been a reliable workhorse and a fuss-free way for me to stay connected, whether I'm working from home or chilling off-grid. It's a sound choice if you need portable internet without any unnecessary complications.

Tp-link m7000 mifi
Tp-link M700 I wish people were clear and honest in their reviews. Prior to purchase I read Amazon’s and maybe 10 other peoples. If I’d read further down the list I’d have read one which highlighted the rubbish. Firstly, the instructions are poor to say the least. Inserting a SIM card is the most frustrating and awkward experience. The sim holder is so flimsy that tp-link provide a little piece of sticky tape to hold it in place, which I suppose is ok unless you intend to remove the card numerous times. The lights on the device indicating whether you have a WiFi connection or not don’t remain on so, if you’re unsure you have to keep pressing the button. Lastly, and most importantly, there are only a small number of network SIM cards that will work, Sky mobile doesn’t! Don’t even think of downloading tp-links config settings page unless you have a Masters in computer science………..It’s getting returned.

A bit exclusive and not as versatile as hoped
worked very well when there was a 3.com sim card in it but as soon as I tried a different sim from another supplier it gave up and refused to log in. I ended up swapping to using an old Samsung phone instead as a mobile hot spot. So now it's redundant like it's been semi locked Can't give it 5 stars for that reason

Broadband filler inner
Very easy to set up and an ideal solution that worked in between setting up broadband. Even though it doesn't have a daily use anymore I still use it for journeys on the train and I have taken it abroad as well to use WiFi in the room. It has a sleek and simple design to it. One button for use to turn power on and off. The range on this device is good and it could still be found and connected from upstairs to down. Definatley value for money as it continues to have a purpose.

La limitation principale est la vitesse en 4g et le manque de fonctionnalité (reboot automatique à heures fixes, par exemple) mais en dehors de cela, marche très bien. Fonctionne en modem usb aussi !
