Good quality security nuts
These security nuts fit my need perfectly. I attached aluminum roof rack cross bars to the top rails of my utility trailer via M8 T-slot bolts. I felt like I needed to remove these every time I would take my kayak to the lake as I could remove both bars within a couple of minutes using a 1/2” wrench. Now I don’t have a concern with them walking away so quickly. I don’t believe that anything is theft proof, if someone wants something they will find a way. This is only a deterrent as it will provide a little more difficulty to remove without the key. As a test I have tried gripping these with different sized sockets and pliers and was unable to get them to turn.

Secure for now...
Works as intended, size was as expected. Can't review actual theft attempt until someone tries to steal my plates but looks to be theft prohibitive.

Keeps honest people honest...
Certainly better than a standard nut for security. Given time, these can be defeated like anything else. Fit and finish is good.

Good hardware for a decent price.
I bought these to secure my roof top tent to my bed rack on my Tacoma pick up truck. The hardware itself worked as it should. The key fit into each nut and the nuts threads went on without issues. My only gripe is the quality of the nut. It doesn't have that "weighty" feel to them, so I'm afraid to torque them down too much to the point that the threads will strip. All in all, a great product. Used more so as a preventative measure against theft. With enough determination, someone could get these off.

Excellent quality
These are excellent quality but I ended up going with a different style that felt more tamper proof.

Good Concept, Decent Quality, but Super Expensive. Looking for Alternatives
These feel okay. Quality is as expected. I can't test the compound of metals, but I'm assuming it's legitimately stainless steel. The concept is good and well executed here. The mechanism makes it very hard for someone to unbolt if they don't have the "key" piece. It's clever. However, there are so few bolts, and they're sold *separately* from the nuts. That makes this unreasonably expensive for only a few bolts. If you want to secure 10 solar panels to frames, using just 1 bolt and nut for each, you're looking at several hundred dollars. If you use 4 bolts and 4 nuts, it's more than $50 per frame. The price is kind of absurd for what it is. It doesn't look like they're machined by hand or anything. So if they're molded, and the mold doesn't behave differently from other molds of nuts and bolts, then they're just charging a premium out of greed. I'm going to have to research this before saying with certainty that it's a ripoff. If you can find security bolts (with nuts) for cheaper, reward the sellers who offer a fair value.
