Used both probes on a couple of steaks at medium setting, the results was very good. I like the way the probes lock in place for storage, programming was exceptionally easy, display was adequate. Only used the product once so I don’t know how well it will hold up. I liked that I didn’t have to use an app on my phone . I could just lay the controller on the grill and watch the temperatures change or just stick it in my pocket and pull it out when I wanted to find out the temperature of the probes. It has an alarm when it reaches the proper temperature for each probe. For the price I would say it’s worth taking a shot so I would definitely recommend it.

I purchased the Awlkim Bluetooth Wireless Meat Thermometer before Black Friday and missed an almost $7 discount. I was tempted to return it for the price difference but I chose to keep the one I had. It came in handy when I cooked a turkey for thanksgiving. I used also it when I was defrosting the turkey in brine for 5 days and then cooking the turkey in an outdoor oven. When the turkey was in the brine I was able to set it 38 degrees Fahrenheit and to be safe I put the probe in a ziplock bag and place it on the brine ice bath and it was able to accurately measure the temperature. I swapped probes about half way through as it was starting to get below 50% charge and over the course of the 5 days I left the base station on and would have to recharge it every day or so. The temperature in the brine never went about 33 degrees so it didn’t hit the alarm set point until the probe was removed and warmed up. When roasting the turkey I used the preset they had for turkey meat and it alarmed when it reached the set point and when I checked on it the plastic temperature gauge that is embedded in the turkey was extended so the two devices were similar in temperature readings. The device is super nice. The probes sit in the base handset and are ejected via a button on the top for each one. When it’s ejected the display begins to read the probe. The display is super clean, nice, and easy read and program. Both probes can be individually set with the temperatures you need and each will alarm when the set point is reached. The alarm is reasonable loud enough to hear but not loud like a siren. The base handset set has two neodymium magnets on the back so it can be hung from the fridge door which made finding it easy. The hand held base station doesn’t require you to use an app to monitor the temperature, which is a nice change from having to get a specific app. Too many gadgets have to be IOT devices with their own apps and privacy issues. This thermometer is more conventional just with its own sleek interface. The range of the probes was impressive. My oven was more than 20 feet away and the base could still communicate with it. Overall I recommend this thermometer. It was really well built and accurate.

Works well then can stick right on bbq with magnet so you don’t lose it.

Fairly good temperature probes. BUT: They need to be charged and hour or so before use -- battery doesn't hold very long.

This is very accurate and it is small enough that my son can place it in his pocket and easily reach for it when needed. He is in culinary school and it has helped him in the meat course. He has even cooked meals at home. Great quality and also great price.

I used this in my car because the A/C - heating system wasn't working properly (blowing cold air when should be hot and hot air when should be cold). The dealer didn't believe me so I used this to document what temperature the different vents were blowing. The documentation got the dealer to believe me and they found two different issues causing the problem.

If you cook and bake a lot like me this is something worth having. It’s great that it’s digital which means it’s easier to manage and you can pair it to your phone, instead of opening the oven every min to check an old fashioned thermometer. I bake a lot so this is an investment for me. Imma whip this bad boy out for Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner especially. Exited. 🤩

This is brilliant. I love how it turns on and off by moving the thermometer. It’s a bright green light and although I don’t have problems with my eyes it would be great for someone who does.
