Very nice beginner car, a cheap way to break into the hobby. This car is fast and durable. No oiled shocks but they are adjustable, so that's nice. The controller is decent and comfortable to hold. I've bashed this car repeatedly and it's still holding strong

very nice truck
it's a great truck, a bit bigger and faster than the 1:18 this 1:14 truck is awesome, sometimes gets up curbs that are taller than it's tires.. can jump very well.. but definitely needs the oil shocks, i put those on from the beginning and also used two of the original shocks to help with the weight of the rear. as you can see in one of the photos.. i had to change the angle to get a proper spring rate.. it rides really nice now. it's heavy enough to crack the cover but easily replaceable, i added strings to hold the body clips because they like to fly away. i love the trophy truck style and in real life the purple body is actually really good looking.. these tire have really good grip too.. no center diff but great little truck. can handle a 3S battery a little bit before overheating.. steering servo is great. I've managed to crack the front bumper from some bad landing so i tucked a little toy tire in it.. this thing is very tough but as a beginner I did bust both of the front cv joints, easy repair. needed the oil shock upgrade imo, maybe slightly faster than a beginner needs.

Great RC car!
My 13yr old RC car expert son did a LOT of research before deciding upon this car and he's been very happy with the quality and drive for the money. The controls are very fine (he likes it, I have trouble driving it as an uncoordinated adult) and the range is excellent as well as the speed. He did put some metal strips on himself for the areas that see abrasion if it flips over.

Best Bang for your buck
Very durable, use it to exercise my dogs. It has taken bites, being stepped on and has kept up. I honestly am surprised about value for what you pay. It was easy to set up right out of the box. Oh yeah fun and it makes feel like a kid.

Bought this for my son after he picked one from Walmart. I wanted him to try something faster and more durable. Ended up taking the Walmart one back as he doesn’t even look at it. This RC was $20 more and 20 times the fun. It’s been bashed, submerged and jumped with no issues or injuries. Highly recommend for beginners. Variable speed-great, 2 batteries-great, 2 bodies with stickers-great. Only complaint is the wiring for lights got cut by the body. Easy fix by making the opening bigger for the wire to pass through.

5/5 Officially been a year since opened and still working exceptionally. My older brother said it’s a “hobby” car, or something like that, whatever that means. Batteries are still working great. It is still being used frequently among 3 10 yr/old boys which really goes to say the quality of this car. Really has held up a surprising amount. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 4 1/2yr niece. She loved the fact she can pick body colours and put on her own stickers. It got submarined in a deep puddle with rooster tails of water shooting off all 4 tires in the first 10min of using it, and it still works fine. It’s since taken a few other swims with no problems. The variable speed control works awesome, my niece learned pretty quick that driving it slowed down is easier and the battery last a lot longer(like 30-40min). It’s pretty fast for a brushed motor but won’t do a wheelie. Can drive around the wet grass pretty good even on low speed, high is no problem. It’s been smashed into curbs/walls at full speed multiple times and is taking the abuse just fine. The only thing she has broken is one of the LED lights, got torn off the wire. The body clips seem to fly out easily during a crash, and disappear. Been using short pieces of wire instead, working great so far.

Unfortunately, the plastic parts used for this truck are very low quality and break with minimal use. After a few months the truck is unusable and we replaced it with something better. I would recommend looking elsewhere. You'll see the difference as soon as you take the body off.

Lots of fun. Its car is super fast and durable. It can easily pick through rocks or just burn through them. On pavement it just screams and has no problem on grass, dirt bumps and jumps. I’ve flipped it several times with no damage at all. It has proportional steering and acceleration for nice control. Oh, did say it’s FAST? Well worth the price. Don’t get the cheap one. Note, the max speed can be set lower for beginners and younger speedsters.
