Great value for a sturdy pair of replacement bike pedals. The large, flat pedals have spikes for not slipping. Easy to install on most bikes. Great for mountain bikes.

Bent spindles on both and threads wer not good so could not even mount them.

Upgrading bike pedals from the cheap stock plastic ones to a decent set of metal pedals is one of the simplest, but best value upgrades you can make to a bike. The cheap plastic pedals don’t grip shoes well, are easily scratched or cracked, and the bearings wear out from heavy use. These pedals represent a big upgrade on all fronts and don’t cost much more than a basic set of plastic pedals. The bearings are smooth and serviceable, the grips are good, but not too aggressive, and they’re lightweight enough to fit in on a hybrid bike. These will make a great upgrade on my wife’s hybrid bike.

The ad says stainless steel screws but they are NOT. They just a[pear to be cast as part of the pedal and have very rounded and smoothed over painted edges. I’m giving this 2 stars because they’re marketed and manufactured to look like grippy mountain bike pedals. The reality is, they will probably provide less grip than what you’re taking off. The platform is nice and wide and they look cool but I’d recommend getting something else.

If you're looking for a basic pair of pedals that are just a step up from stock plastic, then here you go. The pins are molded in and are not changeable. Nice wide platform to reduce hot spots. They're okay for cheap pedals. Better than stock plastic but a far cry from more expensive, higher-quality pedals.

I picked up a used bike that had the original standard pedals that you find on lots of bikes. I wanted a wider platform and these have been great for that purpose. The short nubs (anti-skid nails) also contribute to a solid foot placement, but I would worry about putting these pedals on a kids bike unless that kid is an experienced rider. Installation was a breeze and I had no problem threading these on to the crank arms after applying a bit of grease to simplify removal in the future. They look great, work well, and I am happy with them.

Great smoothness, when pedaling, the bicycle looks great. Good value for the money. Good build material functionality is great. It was a breeze, swapping out the old pedals with these new designed bike pedals
