I’m a big matcha lover and this FKRO ceremonial matcha seriously impressed me. The texture is incredibly smooth and creamy, with rich umami flavor and absolutely no bitterness. You can tell it’s high quality just by the vibrant green color and how well it froths. It tastes great on its own with hot water or as a latte with milk and a little vanilla. Super fresh, easy to mix, and feels like something you’d get at a specialty café — but for only $26, which is honestly amazing for this level of quality. If you care about taste, texture, and overall quality in your matcha, this one is definitely worth trying. I’ll be repurchasing.

Nutty and creamy like the description says, but followed with a slight grittiness and a lingering astringency. Overall, an okay matcha I give it a 6.5/10. I’d like to try their other powders.

i love the umami taste but not so bitter either! goes perfectly well with my matcha lattes. the color is so vibrant and green, & it had an amazing smell as well. super affordable for the quality you’re paying! definitely recommend!

I am obsessed with this matcha because it has 1. the most beautiful deep grass green color (see image), 2. the texture is perfectly creamy, and 3. you have the best deep flavor of umami. You know this is good quality matcha when the caffeine has its effect, and it has definitely kept me awake to do what I needed in the day. Very effective, I love it!

I recently tried the FKRO 30g Ceremonial Grade Matcha tin and found it to be a very solid entry-level option. At approximately $29 after tax, it is priced very competitively for a 1st harvest, single-origin product from Uji. While it isn't the most bold or punchy matcha I’ve ever tasted, it is very smooth and lacks any harsh bitterness. Because the flavor is a bit more on the mild side, I think it’s an excellent choice for someone who wants a high-quality daily matcha that doesn't feel overwhelming. It whisks up nicely and makes for a very clean, refreshing latte.

I've been more interested in Matcha lately, especially as a woman. The benefits for skin and hormones are very enticing to me. I wanted to find an affordable ceremonial-grade matcha, and this one is amazing! So delicious and smooth, I highly recommend it and will definitely purchase it again.
