I absolutely love this humidifier! My family has sensitive skin and the dry winter months can cause cracked skin, sinus issues, and unhappy houseplants, but this has been a total game-changer. I was tired of constantly refilling smaller humidifiers every day, so I decided to go big with this 16L Lacidoll model, and it was 100% worth it. We all felt the difference with our first day of use. It easily keeps the humidity and warmth in my home around 50–65%, and it runs quietly in the background without being distracting. I especially appreciate the extension tube, which helps spread the mist evenly throughout the room, and the aroma box, which adds a subtle, clean scent when I want it. The night light is a nice touch, with the soft light bright enough to be relaxing without being bright or annoying. The tank capacity is amazing, I can run it for 2–3 days straight before needing to refill, even when running it almost constantly. It’s perfect for larger areas and I leave it in the living rooms where it is open layouts. So far, I have not have any leak issues, so fingers cross it stays that way. If you’re tired of babysitting small humidifiers or want something that can handle your whole house, this is the one to get. I have been using Lacidoll humidifiers for the few years and have recommended them to family and friends, because I love them all. Each year, they improve on their past humidifiers and they work even better. This large room 16L/4.2Gal Humidifier from Lacidoll is Perfect, as far as I am concerned. Take it out of the box, take a couple pieces of plastic wrap off the cable ends, fill the unit and turn it on; it is that simple. And instantly you know you are going to be pleased. The unit is completely quiet, and you can change settings quickly and easily, controlling the humidity, speed, the timer and several other settings. Winter is on the way and with the heater comes dry air.. Not so with this Humidifier. Turn it on, set your settings and enjoy humidity all through the house. This is a perfect humidifier to mist all your houseplants, and they will thank you for it. This large room humidifier holds16L/4.2Gal of water, so you won't be finding yourself constantly having to fill it! With 4 speeds, Aroma and light this humidifier makes it easy to add humidity to your house. It is so easy to fill (simply pure water on the top and fill the unit) and this Humidifier even has sleep mode for undisturbed sleep. I have a large studio in Brooklyn with lots of plants. During the winter it gets really dry here and the rest of the year I try and maintain 40% humidity for my plants. The Lacidoll has been amazing. It runs for a long time. It maintains a consistent humidity in the room and turns itself on and off and I never hear it. I can also turn off the display light so it doesn't keep us up at night. Very easy to clean. After 7 months, my unit stopped working. I emailed customer service and they got back to me in less than 24 hours. They're sending a replacement unit. They sent me videos and all the information I would need so I didn't have any further issues. You get what you pay for. This is one of the better purchases I've made.

Works great and puts out a lot of moisture on the turbo setting. It is quiet. Refills are easy since you can just pour it into the top without having to take it apart and getting water everywhere. I'm only using distilled water. I hope it lasts a long time. Only downside is that the water level indicator is only near the top, so you can't really tell how low it has gotten.

I've used this humidifier several different ways over the years. At night I keep it in the bedroom and it keeps the air cool while protecting my instruments. When I'm teaching lessons in the winter months, it keeps my studio from drying out, but it is also quite enough that it doesn't interrupt lessons or distract my students. It's really easy to program. I rarely even use the remote because the buttons are so intuitive, and I often said it to 45 RH and let it run. In an office or bedroom it can easily get the job done on level 1 or 2, and it can actually humidify a decent size three story rowhome by itself on the turbo setting (when you place it in the hallway on the top floor) It's easy to refill and clean. Just wipe it out with a cloth or some paper towels and you're good to go for a while. A few times I got behind on the cleaning and used either some dish soap or a little vinegar and it took care of everything. The built-in handles are subtle but also sturdy. It's relatively easy to carry around even when it's full, and as long as you don't pour the water directly into the middle exhaust port where the Mist comes out you can fill it up pretty quickly. It's also pretty decent with aromatherapy. A designated diffuser is a safer option that allows for more potency but it's not bad. Just make sure you use a tissue or a cloth as a barrier and put only a few drops of oil on the cloth in the essential oils tray, just like in the instructions, so you don't damage the plastic. I'm pretty happy with it. The newer model has a light in it so you can see the water as it's filling up, and props to Lacidoll listening to that feedback, but this one is fine in good lighting, or if you use your phone to shine a light in the window to see the water level. I use it mainly for protecting my cellos and guitars but also to keep the air comfortable during the winter. Definitely glad I bought it.
