After having the "clip into a vent fin" phone holder that constantly fell off I decided to try this for my 2018 CRV. The base snapped on very nicely, and grips my phone well. Once installed, the phone is rock solid, works great. The one complaint I have is that the bottom of the holder will slightly block the radio screen, and the charging cord will definitely dangle in front of the screen. However, this is a minor complaint, and I really do like this holder for its stability.

Installing this phone holder in a 2019 Honda CR-V was a piece of cake. The base for the mount simply snaps onto the dash around the button for the hazard lights. The phone cradle slides into that base mount and positions the phone in a nice location for viewing. When you place a phone in the cradle and push it in, the two arms on the cradle spring inwards to securely hold the phone. To remove the phone, you press on the two release tabs on either side of the cradle. Great design and great fit for this 2019 CR-V.

Wish I would have purchased this phone holder long ago. Clips on perfectly over the hazard button without impeding the ability to activate hazards. Phone snaps in/out easily and allows for charging/bluetooth cable as long as the phone is centered in the holder. The phone placement is very close to the console screen causing potential issues while plugging in said cable. I avoid this potential issue by inserting the cable and setting up google maps before placing in the holder. If you prefer using google maps without using Android Auto, this holder is a perfect solution.
