Momentive RTV 109 One Part Silicone Sealant, 10.1 Ounce Caulker, Aluminum (Pack of 1)

I have some leather welding gloves that don't allow me to hold hot items for very long. I wanted to be able to glue pads of silicone rubber on the finger tips for better heat protection and improved grip. I have struggled finding an adhesive that bonds silicone rubber very well. Once dried the rubber just peels right off until I tried this product. The pads I glued to the gloves with this product adhered perfectly. I have to really pry and pull to get any separation. Even then the rubber tears right as it gets to the point of trying to separate. My next move was to buy the $30 Sil-Poxy. There is some debate whether that will adhere well to leather. I guess I will never know because for 1/3 the price this seems to do the trick where the other 5 or 6 attempts with various other adhesives failed. I will update if any issues with adhesion develop during use.

This is the same product that many of the aquarium builders use. This is an adhesive, which has a much higher tinsel strength and adhesion strength than the average sealant you get at the pet store. The working time is around 12 minutes. You need to plan out your assembly and go through a dry run or two before actually attempting to put it together for real. The tube was well within date, it was only a couple months old when i got it. If you are doing a tank bigger than 5 gallons, consider the calking tube. This is not the easiest to use to lay down a long even thin bead and keep it smooth and straight. It takes a decent amount of pressure with a thinner bead, you may run into hand fatigue by the time you are finishing up.

I used this with glass shower door clamps. I tried others which resulted in a slow slip. This is the only thing that worked for me.

Convenient packaging for smaller workshop projects, excellent physical properties. Acetoxy cure, so it has this vinegar smell and can be slightly corrosive - but that aside, it's a fast-curing, tough, thixotropic silicone adhesive that sticks extremely well in comparison to your average hardware store product - and I've been coming back to it for many years.

Essential for secure mounting of sliding glass roller brackets on our tub enclosure. Common sealers do not harden and heavy glass doors will slip downward.

I was fortunate to find this adhesive as 100% silicone did not provide me with the adhesion needed to mount the roller mounts to my glass frameless shower doors. this stuff is strong. Although make sure you follow the instruction as if not you could end up getting the same result as 100% silicone.

worked great for sealing an old fish tank, sealing some outside fasteners as well as a few other projects.. i'll definitely be purchasing some more of this stuff. Edit. I bought this is 2019 for 13 dollars. Needed some again, but I refuse to pay 45 dollars for a tube. You guys are h|gh trying to get people to pay almost 4x the price.

EASY TO APPLY AND CLEAN-OFF EXCESS MATERIAL WHILE SOFT. BONDED HARD PLASTIC FRACTURES EFFECTIVELY AND ALMOST INVISIBLE. BEST ADHESIVE I EVER WORKED WITH. MECHANICAL ENGINEER.

Worked very well. My electric element in my mash tun just would not stop leaking. This stopped it completely.
