Good raw speeds, but advertised features cause major performance loss
Purchased on 26 February 2024 for AED 360.84. I’m very disappointed with this router. On paper, the ASUS TUF Gaming AX3000 V2 is marketed as a “gaming” and “premium” router packed with advanced features like Adaptive QoS, Traffic Analyzer, AiProtection, and USB storage. In reality, enabling these features severely breaks the core functionality. With a 1 Gbps fiber connection, my wired speeds were capped around 450 Mbps down / 350 Mbps up when QoS, traffic monitoring, or AiProtection were enabled. The moment I disabled these “premium” features, speeds jumped to ~900 Mbps instantly. This means the router cannot handle the very features it is sold for. Even worse, enabling USB storage caused frequent Wi-Fi instability. Mobile devices (phones and tablets) were randomly disconnected from Wi-Fi until USB services were disabled entirely. This makes the USB port unusable in any real-world setup. To summarize: - ISP and fiber line are fine (router’s own speed test shows ~915 Mbps) - Ethernet cable and PC are fine (1 Gbps negotiated) - The bottleneck is the router firmware and CPU when features are enabled - To get full speed and stability, you must turn the router into a “basic router” At this price, I expected to be able to use the advertised features without sacrificing half my internet speed or Wi-Fi stability. Disabling everything just to make it work defeats the purpose of buying a feature-rich router. This feels like paying for premium features that cannot be used reliably. I would not recommend this router to anyone who actually plans to use QoS, traffic monitoring, or USB storage.

Router niby wypasiony,a potrafi dość często zrywać połączenia.

I bought this to extend my current router set up using the mesh system for £82, world flawlessly and performs better than my first AX 3000 router, both in range and resources management as the ram on the router doesn't get saturated with the same number of active devices. The only watch out is as this is the European version it comes with an EU charger, so you need a converter to use it.

Easy to set up. Great range and speed. Only 1 x 2.5gb wan port read carefully. Would definitely reccomend

It works as intended, and it was so good I even bought an additional copy to give to my parents. They really needed the 5 Ghz wifi upgrade.
