Second time I have purchased this. My husband has low iron levels with borderline anemia and was told that he would probably be referred for intravenous iron injections...OR he could first try iron tablets. This is a lower strength iron supplement so did not cause too much constipation - taking it daily. Appears to do the job, blood tests indicate that the iron levels have increased after a month.
