Crystal Balls
They work fine on a 1970 Olds Cuttlas. The mounting base covers the large holes in the doors from the OEM mirror mounting .The sealing / insulator is 1 1/4" at its widest point. The mirror is plastic , the finish is good and the mirror head has plenty of extra adjustment capabilities. I'm getting two more for the 49 Ply. You can see the past or the future in these mirrors depending on which direction you travel.. Edited here: Well, the mirrors are easily blown out of adjustment by the wind created by driving. Frustrating to say the least.

Nice alternative.
Plastic bodies but look quite nice. Much less expensive than similar mirrors.

Worst mirrors ever
This item should not be allowed to be sold. This item will not stay in place and the view in the mirrors are incorrect. This item will cause an accident. One star rating is not low enough.

Very good for the price
These are cheap plastic mirrors. While they are cheap (pricewise) I was impressed in how well they work and look. They fit well, look good and work as expected. I see other reviews that complained about lack of adjustability but I have no issues on my car. Very adjustable. These are temporary mirrors until I have the car restored and painted, then I will install a better set of mirrors but these will work good until then. A better set of mirrors will cost several times the price of these. I feel these are well priced of what you get and will recommend as long as you understand these are cheap mirrors but do work.

A good replacement for stock mirrors
I put a pair of these on a 1978 Mustang. They look nice and were easy to install. The only problem I have had with these is that they don't stay adjusted. I can set them to see out of and when I drive the car the mirrors will vibrate and go out of adjustment and there is no way to adjust the right side mirror while driving.

Plastic but ok
They are plastic but look like new easy install on my 72 Cutlas ( had same mirrors but chrome was bad ) . will try to keep wax on these to preserve but a good deal for the money!!!!
