The package arrived only packaged in its retail box. The box was ripped and torn up but the floor jack itself was in good condition thankfully. It is exactly as described. Nice paint and the function is perfect. I purchased it because of its high lift. Gets my Mecedes e350 high up enough to sit on the highest setting on my jack stands. Be careful when lowering the jack, just a slight turn releases the jack so do it slowly.

Initially, I was hesitant about this new brand of jacks but found out later that it was made by Torin - a long time maker of jacks. Unlike Torin, the customer support by this vendor is excellent. Product is a bit heavy but not as heavy as most full steel 2.5T floor jacks with high lift. Shorter lift jacks made with 100% aluminum would be the lightest and, of course, more $$$. My older Jack which I abused for many years was 1.5T aluminum race jack with a single pump made by Torin. It finally started to leak. So my review is comparing my older jack with this new one - bit of apples and oranges. Pros: Not a racing jack so you can control the drop rate Has 2 pumps for faster lift Can center lift my heavy SUV very high - near 3000 lbs. Also goes pretty low for sport cars Long and sturdy handle make lifting effortless Using aluminum body makes it lighter than full steel ones Wheels are big, wide and spread out making it very stable Excellent customer support Good price for a sturdy, low to high lift jack at 5000 lbs rating Cons/issues: only minor Packing plastic wedge was very difficult to remove without instruction. NOTE: after opening the shipping box, simply press the pump slightly with one hand. Shipping wedge pops out. Needed more detailed manual - support was great and helped me to find the correct manual (Torin) High lift forces the jack to be long and bit heavier than low lift ones so the trade off I recommend this jack for those needing a sturdy jack at home for lifting heavy pickup trucks and SUVs. I prefer this vendor over Torin due to much better customer support. If you want a lighter floor jack with similar spec, Harbor Freight has 100% aluminum version at much higher price. You pay for less weight. Be safe!

Serious jack. Quality product. Does the job.

I have two cars I wanted a low profile high quality jack to work on them. Everything looked right on the description like this was the jack for me, but I was disappointed when it arrived to find that this one still didn't sit low enough for either of the cars I was looking to use them on. I still kept it because the build, strength and ease of use just screams quality. If you're looking to jack up a sports car, this isn't for you. The two cars I wanted to pick up were a 2015 Z51 Corvette and a 2014 Cadillac ELR. Both cars sit too low for this jack to even really reach the outer part of the frame rails for safe lifting. I was able to make it work by using my wife's temporary jack to boost each car up a couple inches and then slide this under. Once that was done couldn't be happier with this jack. The two piece handle is strong and feels great, lifting is a snap, you can drop at any speed you want by twisting the handle, and it didn't move or feel unsteady once both cars were in the air. I got a 3 ton jack because the ELR weighs close to 5000 lbs, so everytime I used a 2 ton jack it made me nervous. Probably overkill and you may not have to worry about a coupe that weights 5000 lbs, so this might be the ideal jack for you. Still gave it 5 stars for overall quality, ease of use, and strength, even though it didn't suit my needs.

If you know me from other products you know I have good things to tell you😁This low profile jack is strong and built tough,it has two pumps instead of the usual one you would associate with regular jacks.It is steel meaning it is really heavy please be careful if you do pick this one I strongly advise you!But this does live up to its carry weight!I tried it out on my Honda civic,easy pick up then my Dodge Challenger,no sweat!Next my toyota 4runner still going strong,slower but still got it!And lastly for all you truck owners my ford f150,not as fast but heck gets the job done!Definitely would recommend YELLOW JACKET also offers aluminum jacks which are lighter please check them out as well!

I got this jack as a backup to my 3 ton jack which is awkward to setup for small jobs. This 2.5 tonner is much more convenient to use and has worked perfectly for tire changing.
