Good sized bottle, bigger then what the pet store gave me. Smells okay, nothing to hold your breath over. The pellets are not too big and not too small, he eats them just fine and they sink quickly. Is it worth the money? Ehh.. im sure there are bigger bottles out there somewhere for a better price but I do recommend it!

great quality!
My axolotl thrived on this as her primary food source even before she had a stable diet. We use this product and occasionally feed her worms as well. She absolutely loves the taste. The pellets are a suitable size for my axolotl to swallow easily. They are also soft, which makes it easier for her to digest them. Additionally, they have a long shelf life! It’s definitely worth the money because these pellets last for several months since axolotls don’t eat every day.

My axolotl loves these pellets. Good for supplementary food. Red wiggler worms are best for dairy feeding to axolotl.

Food breaks down quickly
My axolotl’s seem to really like eating these pellets, but they break up in water very quickly. They cannot be picked up with feeding tongs after more than a few minutes without dissolving into dust. My previous brand I was using stayed firm in the water for a few hrs plus, and could still be picked up with tongs. Overall for the price and the quantity this is a great deal, but I’ll probably be trying something else once this jar is gone.

purchased this for my axlotl, who was fairly small at the time. Since using he has grown and is very healthy. I feed 5 pellets every day, and now every other day. Lasts a long time, and my axlotl looks healthy and happy.

My axolotl eats the food and it is fresh. The pieces are very small making it awkward to take out of the container with your fingers. It breaks apart easily
