BloomBox Lions Mane Mushroom Grow Kit

I spoke a lot on the awesome Blu Oyster Mushroom BloomBox by NuBlume in my last video but I also need to talk about the Lion's Mane BloomBox by NuBlume and touch on a few of the details that set NuBlume BloomBox apart. 1. The NuBlume BloomBox comes with awesome heavy-duty tent bags with slide zipper that the competition doesn't provide. 2. The NuBlume BloomBox comes with a glass spray bottle that is very attractive and the competition comes with a low quality plastic spray bottle. I use the NuBlume sprayer to mist the competition. 3. The instruction sheet with how to and mushroom facts that NuBlume provides is 2-3 times the quality as the competition. How do I know this? I bought the competition also. This is so fun growing these kits! I bought the lions mane and blue oyster kits and they both are doing just fine! I started with the lions mane first and it’s supposed to be more difficult but so far it’s not hard at all and it’s growing nicely! It’s just a matter of paying attention to them and following instructions. Highly recommended !

I’m a repeat customer, and the results are consistent every time. It took a while to bloom, then it popped and grew much faster. Attached pic is the bloom a few days before harvest. Just make sure to spray in the bag, away from the bloom, several times a day and the shroom never touches the bag. Nublume has exceptional customer service, if you have a question or concern, the response is quite fast. This is a high quality and fun project, and the Lion’s Mane cooks up like steak! I definitely recommend.

I bought these on the same day that I bought the blue oyster mushrooms, and I started them both on the same day. They both started pinning around day four or five. This picture is how they look after one week, so I’m thinking that’s pretty good. As I said, in my other review, they have you put the box into a humidity bag that they provide. And I’m questioning how big the mushrooms can get, if they start to push up against that bag. So I plan to cut the bag open when I get a little bit bigger so they have room to grow. You really can’t remove the box once you have it in that bag because they have you set it on some wet paper towels, which softens the cardboard of the box and it would fall apart if you tried to remove it. I can’t wait to see how big these get and again, I have no idea how I will know when it’s time to harvest, but my understanding is that once I do, I can start misting them again and get at least another bloom or two out of them.

I have been plant-based for about a month now and wanted to try lions mane out. It’s been impossible to find it near me so I purchased this kit. The directions were ok but it did leave me confused on a few things (how much to spray, how often, is the bag absolutely necessary, etc.) I sat it out in the sun, sprayed it twice a day and brought it in during the time. I followed what others who had success did but it never grew. Nothing popped out whatsoever. Maybe it was something I did but I was excited and cared for it everyday for 2 weeks and nothing. I didn’t care to try cutting the back to retry growing because it appeared ruined. Bubbly wet white stuff consumed it and it just didn’t give off healthy soil. I’m glad it worked for others, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get a single thing to come out of it no matter how much I cared for it.

Great product! Even had some trouble with my last box and customer service was excellent. Still working on creating my perfect environment and they’ve provided many helpful tips. Growth rate was steady and healthy and I got two rounds out of my kit, even in the middle of winter here!

My mushroom log was kept dry and cool, stored away, but it must have been opened and exposed to some moisture because it grew some larger mushrooms out of the seam of the box. I have restarted it to see how it does with more water, and. I was surprised how the growth took off without normal light and ample moisture. Great for a project.

I bought three different kits from three different companies. Same mushrooms but different companies. This was by far the worst. It did sprout a few mushrooms, but nothing like the others. They include a grow bag, unlike the others, but it didn’t help at all. I’m giving it to stars because mushrooms did grow, but not enough to be edible. Stay away from this brand. Northspore and Back to the Roots are way better.

Paid nearly 85 euros for 2 mushrooms to bloom on this box . Massive rip off . When other suppliers sell from 16 euros per kit
