I upgraded to these mirrors from the smaller stock mirrors a couple weeks ago. Easy install, everything except the two LED puddle/spotlights worked just by plugging the connectors into the existing locations on the switch cluster. For the LEDs I added a tap-a-fuse to the fuse panel in the left end of the dash, a 5 blade automotive relay and a lighted toggle switch. I wired it so that when I flipped the toggle switch they light up, that way I can turn them on whenever I want. I also tapped into the dome light wiring so they also come on when I lock/unlock the truck and any time the dome lights are on. The relay is wired so that when it’s at rest the lights are powered from the dome light circuit and when the relay is activated via the dash switch they are connected to 12V constant via the tap-a-fuse. Overall these mirrors seem to be very well built, install/fit flawlessly and are a vast improvement over the non tow stock mirrors. They’re even an upgrade over the stock towing mirrors because the mirror surface is a shade larger plus the addition of the forward facing turn signals. The only thing I wish was different about them is the listing left me with the impression that the forward facing amber LED strips were combination marker and turn signal lights like the new style trucks have when that’s not the case. They are only turn signals. If I really want to, and I probably will eventually, I can pull them apart and separate the wiring (they are apparently on a common wire with the turn arrow in the mirror face) and run another wire thru the arm and into the truck so that I can tap them into the truck wiring with another relay to make them marker lights as well as turn signals. I just wish it would’ve been that way already. All in all, well spent money and a great addition to my truck.

I bought a set off eBay , dint even have them on the truck for a week before I was getting a return label to ship them back, ordered these ones and it was a night and day difference, these ones actually adjust magnificently compared to the other ones , zero visibility issues what so ever. As well these ones don’t try and self extend whe I hit bumps driving down the road like the eBay ones did , overall very happy with the product!! I don’t leave reviews ever good or bad so that should tell you something

These mirrors are better than I thought. Despite reading other reviews, I decided to try them anyways, and they are actually well built. They were easy to install but had no instructions. You just have to YouTube how to install them in your vehicle. The lights worked, the power adjusters worked, and they do manually Telescope out. The mirrors are solid and don't wobble. The only thing that I don't really like about them is that they are slightly angled up which can get annoying. But all in all, they are worth the price.

I read many of the good and bad reviews of this product. I even looked on other website for the same item. Some of the bad reviews made me a little skeptical, but there were enough good review that I took a chance. Here are my PROS and CONS. First, PROS. 1) Arrived quickly and in good condition. 2) Easy to install with the videos on youtube and a little help. We debated about drilling the 4th hole. This turned out to be a good decision. I think it made the mirror more stable since it is bigger than the factory mirror. If you drill, you will need to use the old nuts and buy two more (1/4-28). 3) Better vision. The reviews about less vision is WRONG. The towing mirror is bigger, so MORE vision. The review about shaking is wrong also. I guess the guy didn't tighten the nuts enough. Like anything, with four nuts you have to keep tighten each nut until they are all tight. 4) the control cable hook up was easy and works well. I have 2014 GMC Sierra with power and heated mirrors so make sure you get the mirrors with your truck's features. Now CONS. 1) the only real con is the mirror sets a little further back on the door so you have to move your eyes a little more before you pick up the reflection. I also drive a bus so I am used to looking in my mirrors. I LOVE these mirror and the price. I have had the mirrors on for a week now and see no problems. The vision they give me to see my travel trailer is GREAT! I will update this post if anything changes. Don't let a few bad reviews turn you away from these mirrors.

Easy adjustment, very sturdy, looks great on the truck

fit my 1996 Silverado just fine. The holding bracket to mount it better could have been a better picture on how to do it, but it didn't take me long to figure it out. If you're thinking about getting one, I would get this one. Worth the price. I think I will get a set for my 1996 suburban.

Left mirror is great. However, the right mirror will not adjust manual or electric to the inside enough to see out and down the side of the vehicle

2018 Silverado LT Z71. I'm thoroughly impressed with these mirrors. They've exceeded my expectations. After reading all the reviews I decided to go with this product since it my stock mirrors only have movement adjustability for the main mirror and that's about all these mirrors do plus the heat feature. My truck isn't wired for heat, at least to my knowledge, but it's not throwing any fault codes or check engine lights. The motor isn't louder than stock per say, it's just a different sound than stock, not bothersome at all; some have complained about that. I got these to tow my new RV Travel Trailer and I can now see all the way to the rear of my trailer and the surrounding traffic with no problem. It take a minute to get used to the mirrors since they're much different from stock mirrors, but visibility is greatly enhanced with these. I'm very impressed with the clarity in the mirrors; extremely crisp and clear. They do vibrate a little, and I'm talking a little, not enough to give a negative review though. There are two gaskets on the stock mirrors, one soft foam and the other is a harder rubber trim piece. Take the trim piece off the stock mirror and install them on the new mirrors as well. You'll have to make slight modifications to the piece for fit and finish; I just cut the parts with a blade to fit around the screws. This gasket will fill the gap between your door frame and mirror and makes the mirror look OEM as well as control some of the shakiness. I reused the three stock nuts since they had a larger washer and added a washer to the fourth bolt and used their supplied nut for that one. The quality of these is pretty good. I can't tell the difference between these and trucks with the same OEM mirrors. They feel like quality straight out of the box; they didn't use any cheap materials here. Overall six stars out of five. I just can't believe they were only a hundred and forty bucks, should've replaced my stock mirrors sooner.
