Smaller than I expected, but it works great. 1 batch of popcorn is enough for 2 people. Highly recommend using coconut oil in the machine for that theater taste. Was fairly simple to put together and it is not super difficult to clean.

This was a Christmas gift if I had time I would return it. It is very cheap looking. mostly plastic.. I hope it works better than it looks. It took time to put it together, but one person could easily do it.

I would have given it 5 stars but the item arrived missing screws and the build instructions require a bit of common sense since they are not intuitive. Luckily, I was able to leverage screws I had at home to finish building it. The poppor works great, a bit smaller than exepcted, but not a bad thing, since it fits better where I had planned on putting it. Pop rate seems good, although it is more often based ont he quality of the kernals.

As many people have already stated the instructions are atrocious. What I mean by this is it'll tell you to only use half the screws and then leave you guessing where the rest go. There are enough holes if you've got common sense to figure it out, but it's frustrating. I was also having issues with the box part that holds the kernals falling in the back, and the base that goes around to prop up the popping part snapped, but it still works with the parts I have left. The actual popping: it works well, the popcorn pops and I haven't had issues with burning. I will say that if you do not heat up the machine each time before starting to pop, you will NOT get any popped corn, even if you leave it on for an hour. I think this is the issue that a lot of people are having because it doesn't really say you need to heat it up in the main instructions, but in the building instructions. I think people are forgetting to preheat it and saying it doesn't work. Make sure that you buy a good oil/popcorn salt or the popcorn will be really bland. It took a while for us to find one we like, but we finally settled with the actual Nostalgia set. I think that the set is slightly too big for the machine, however, so you may have to split it up or you will end up with kernals that pop out with the corn before they get a chance to turn into popcorn themselves. Overall, it's not enough of an issue that I care, but some people might.
