Tastes good!
I have always loved Cup O Noodles and this kind I never had before...the seafood. Makes a great quick meal. Its not spicy but you can always add spices to it... I like it as is. Its a nice sized cup, too. I can't eat it regularly because I am diabetic and the carb content is of course high. But they won't spoil and I can have them on hand if I want one. Very happy to have found these.

Convenient and tasty
This seafood-flavored Nissin Cup Noodles is a reliable go-to when you’re short on time. The inclusion of squid, imitation crab, egg and cabbage gives it a satisfying mix of textures, and the creamy soup base adds fullness. It’s particularly convenient to keep in your cupboard for those “need something fast” moments. Reasoning my four-star rating: while it delivers well for an instant noodle, it’s not quite at the level of a full restaurant dish—so if you’re looking for gourmet quality you may want more. Additionally, the portion size is modest (2.68 oz), so for bigger appetites perhaps pair it with a side. Overall though, for convenience and flavour it hits the mark.

Re: Seafood Flavor
I got these based on reviews and didn’t think much of them at first. They’re mild and understated for flavor. I found out midway that the best way to have them is to doctor them up a little: salt, pepper, red chili flakes, a small bit of quality soy sauce and a drizzle of sesame oil. Add some furikake and fresh minced garlic with either a fried egg or a protein like sausage or both and you have something special. All of this might sound a little extra, but it’s all of an additional 3-5 minutes to make a really worthwhile little comfort meal/snack that’s memorable and satisfying. Second time ordering these and would recommend if using the aforementioned approach, if not and you’re just boiling water I would probably pick a different flavor like regular chicken or another brand like nissin rao (good little instant tonkotsu) or the hot noodles with the black and red packaging, can’t remember the name. Appreciate you listening to my rant and hope this is helpful!

WARNING - These noodles are addictive!
I bought the Seafood Noodle soup because of a review in the Serious Eats newsletter. I'll cut to the chase - this is the best instant ramen noodles meal I've ever had. Bar none. Period. Rich, filling, overflowing with flavor. Trust me, I could go on with the superlatives. Note: the instructions call for filling the cup with water up to the indented line. I have changed that to a third of the way between the indented line and the rim. I also added to the cooked noodle soup the juice of 1/2 lime, which adds a bit of tartness that I like (lemon doesn't work as well, but that's probably a matter of personal taste). These end up being about 3 times the cost of the noodle soups you can buy at your grocery store. They're much more than 3 times the soup. As my title says, these are addictive. You have been warned.

Tasted funny
I have ordered this product, both curry and seafood flavors on Amazon and the last time, and for the first time I had a problem with the noodles tasting like perfume/deodorant. Soup was not as bad as the noodles but they tastes absolutely awful. It’s important for the warehouse people to know these products absorbs smell/scent even chemicals and should be kept away from detergent, insect repellent etc in the storage room. Nissin in Japan recalled some 500 thousand cups back in 2008 when a consumer complaint she tasted bug repellent in her noodles and her tong was started to get tingling sensation etc. When it tastes normal... it’s close to the original Nissin seafood flavor but not the same. I’m Japanese, born and raised there. I have craving especially for seafood one from time to time but this time around it was disappointing.

Rare Flavor in US
My favorite Flavor. First discovered this existed when Weis Markets started carrying it Then after I was hooked on it and buying up their entire stock when I went for groceries (they only charged $1.25 per cup!). Then they discontinue it!! Now they only offer Original (similar flavor with Shrimp and Sausage) Now I am stuck paying double that on Amazon. Still my favorite flavor tho Food Hack! Add some Ramen Bae Seafood Mix for more toppings and add on top of Mashed Potatoes. Delicious ramen dinner. And yes they do this in Japan too!
