Very worst product... I am giving a review after 10 days of use. Dosa pan got heat at the middle portion nly.. dosa will not cook evenly, dosa is burning in the middle, and the end portion not cooks fully,bcz the heat spreads nly middle portion of the pan.. waste of money

Nice cast iron tawa. A great replacement of non-stick pan. I personally recommend this tawa as the product is pre-seasoned and healthy for use. The product gets evenly heated and is a good purchase. This is my second tawa purchase from Indus valley. A big yes for those hunting a cast iron tawa.

Needed some seasoning before regular use. Well made compared to few other online brands as someone who has used cast iron for a long time , I was surprised that its thickness was less than ones I own ( thicker than carbon steel ones , but thinner than regular cast iron pans) . Needs to wiped down immediately after every wash, otherwise develops rust ( which can be washed off) I personally lean towards the thicker cast iron pans , for its slow and steady heat control vs this one which gets heated up very quickly after two dosas

Finally, found a kadak tawa for my kitchen! It’s a bit heavy, but that’s because it’s pure cast iron without any chemical coating drama. Dosas come out ekdum crispy and chapatis stay soft, just like the old days. It’s induction-friendly too, so no tension there. A bit of maintenance is needed, but for this quality, it is paisa vasool. Highly recommended for a healthy lifestyle!

Received the tawa with a broken handle and couldn’t return/replace it as I had to travel immediately after the delivery. Haven’t used it yet, will further edit the review after regular use.

Writing review after using for 2 months. After heating tawa is rising up in the middle like bending. Heat is not evenly distributed. Need to waste nearly 2-3 dosa to make one perfect dosa
