I started feeding Zupreem natural pellets to my bird shortly after getting him (8 weeks old). I guess I just assumed it was healthy because it said natural. Fast forward 4 years and our bird started regurgitating his food. We took him to our vet and were told it was a behavioral problem. 3 years of this behavior and nothing we did helped. Our family has become more aware of ingredients and more health conscious in the last year or so. I was evaluating the ingredients and couldn't believe how poor the quality was. I switched to organic tops bird pellet gradually over a couple weeks and now have used almost 2 pounds. I was cleaning our Quaker parrots cage out last week and noticed the perches were actually clean. No food from regurgitation. He had a small raw spot on his foot, completely healed now. I am so impressed with the quality of tops pellet and so happy to have a healthy bird. Also prices are better on chewy!

My parrot loves it, which is always the main issue I have when trying new foods. It doesn’t contain corn, unlike most bird feeds, which is essentially a must for me when shopping due to him struggling with fatty liver in the past He’s an older bird, so I have to be careful with his nutrition I do wish the pellets available were a bit bigger, as he tends to grind these to dust pretty quickly, but all in all it’s one of the only pellets I’ve given him where we actually consumed it rather than dumping it on the bottom of his cage floor

My Indian Ringneck loves these pellets. He was weaned on seed and I have been trying to get him to go to pellets for two years. These are the only ones he'll touch and he devours them!

I have offered these pellets for years and my parrots both enjoy them. Because of how crumbly they are I don't trust them as a sole nutrition source however. My parrots tend to crush them up and sort through them for bits they like, which is something they can't do with other pellet types. They do make fantastic supplements to a core diet however and I think they enjoy shredding them.

My yellow naped Amazon does not like pellets, but being the obsessive parrot-mom and knowing of these pellets' nutritional value, I grind these up in a blender and include the powder in her food. It works.
