Lovely little hedge clipper ideal for small gardens and old ladies!
Excellent! Charged up the battery and tidied up my hedge and a couple of shrubs with ease. Light enough this 65 year old grandma with arthritic hands could manage it easily. Would recommend for small gardens, larger hedges etc might need a corded model but the battery lasted 30 minutes of work and hadn’t given up when I’d finished. Not too noisy, cut through the branches of hedge well and zipped across the top smoothly and light enough to keep it level.

Good and dependable
Nice trimmer, does a good job. Not the most powerful, but cuts up to 12-13mm stems. Easy to handle, battery charges quickly. But is for small gardens and light trimming. Battery lasts enough to do a small garden.

Great tool for simple trimming jobs
Cuts thinner branches really well but can take a bit of effort to take down hedges with thicker growth. Not overly loud ideal for residential areas. General build is sturdy, minimalistic and not overly complicated to use/ maintain. It isn't excessively heavy so it is easy to balance and work with for extended periods of time. Battery life is great lasts a long time between charges can easily do a full 5 meter long hedge and still have most of the battery left over for another job. Only thing that was a dissapointment was the amount of power obviously it will be lesser compared to a petrol alternative but the speed of the blade is noticeably slower which feeds back to its ability to cut something a little more dense (like clusters of vines) as it can get stuck on them mid cut.

Brilliant alternative to shears and no trailing wires
My garden has a hedge that's about 40 feet long and six feet high and several shrubs of different varieties. To trim them I have always used shears and a new pair had become due. But seeing this Bosch battery powered hedge cutter advertised at only twice the price of a decent pair of shears I decided to buy it instead. What a good choice! It's lightweight, easy to use and sharp. It easily cuts privett, box and quite 'woody' shrubs. I find the blade is just the right length in that it doesn't overbalance the tool. It also makes it easy to shape shrubs. The capacity of the battery is enough for all the work I have to do and delivers sufficient power without the hassle of trailing cables, extension leads and the inevitable cutting of the power line. I've owned many Bosch products and this seems as well made as others. I am confident it will last. If like me you don't have another Bosch battery product make sure you buy the option with battery and charger.

Bosch cordless hedge trimmer fantastic
I have had corded trimmers ,but really found a gem upon discovering this diamond , This Bosch hedge trimmer goes above and beyond and beat all expectations it is by far one of our best purchases ever( along with the leaf blower ) and no wires just a battery ;) the size is ideal for our hedges ,it is balanced lightweight no cables value for money batteries easy charging and very little noise ,I would recommend you spray the blades with wd40 before use and everytime you use for the day (it does say this in the manual so would strongly recommend you use read the manual ,just think no more cable and charging battery is very quick I have two batteries for our Bosch cordless tools so never run out , I would recommend this product for small to medium hedges and certainly rates up to one of my best cordless items I have for the garden ,yes I would buy again ,and say to any of you who are fed up with corded items to buy cordless ,my wife was dead against cordless saying they will be rubbish ,we now both run to use them lol .

Good value but can be frustrating to use
Pros: 1. Lightweight and well balanced. 2. Reasonable price. 3. Cuts well and easily; I did not try cutting any branches more than c10mm diameter. 4. Battery holds charge surprisingly well and power usage seems to be low. 5. Robust. On first use, I managed to drop it from the top of a 2m high privet hedge! Admittedly the fall was broken by privet stalks and the ground was soft, but it escaped any damage. 6. The Anti-Blocking system seems to work but this is impossible to verify. Cons: 1. The blade tip protector is a PITA. It is far too long at 4.5cms and renders the end of the blade unusable. The result is it is nigh on impossible to start a new cut midway into a dense hedge; you have to start the cut from the end of the hedge or force the tip protector to bend the obstructing branches out of the way. It also makes it difficult to judge whether you can cut that irritating solitary branch just at the end of your reach. This means it is probably useless for topiary work, which requires precision. I may well break off the plastic tip of mine. 2. The forward power switch location means the loss of a lot of reach length compared to my old Ryobi. 5 cms could be gained in reach if that switch was located further back. Moreover the grip required on the front handle results in greater loss of reach. I had to wait 6 weeks for delivery. I assumed it had to come from China but turns out this is made in Hungary. You would have thought that with 40+ years of supplying the German automotive industry, Bosch might have mastered the art of Just-In-Time; evidently not!

Great trimmer, but only within the limits of the machine.
This is a great trimmer, but you have to be aware of it's limitations. Compared to mains trimmers it is 50% slower, an nowhere near as powerful. The convenience offset this, but only for certain jobs. It doesn't do much over 10mm branches, but again, understand what the tool is for. Great for trimming shrubs and hedge, but you will need to get loppers for anything sizable that needs getting out.

Light Cordless Hedge Trimmerwith Battery and Charger
My Bosch Cordless Hedge Cutter EasyHedgeCut 18V-44-11 was delivered on time. It is light and comes in a box with a battery and charger. It will cut branches up to 15mm in diameter and the blade length is 44cm. The only fault for me was the lack of being able to rotate the handle when cutting the verticle part of the hedge as I suffer from arthritis in my shoulders. The price was good value as there are often special deals available on Amazon.
