Love this brand and this product!
Love this brand and this dishwasher pods they are clean and unscented. Only one time one pod came damage but I buy it regularly so can’t complain.

Switch to these!
They clean even better than the big brand name one. No scent left on the dishes like the big brand name one leaves. I literally love these. Yes they’re pricier, but they’re EWG certified and better!

Good product, but high number of broken capsules in one order
The product works well. My only quibble is that there were 6 broken capsules in the second order I received. I'm not sure if the breakage was caused during production or shipping, but I'm not very happy about it, given the high cost of the product.

Not shipping safely & failing to open makes these a poor choice
I have ordered these for multiple years now and although they work well in our newer dishwasher, (only 1 year old) they are consistently (weekly) either not opening during the washing cycle, or, but more importantly, arriving and coming through broken during shipping. Although the exterior packaging is completely unharmed, I’m finding about 25% of the pods are opening into the tubs when they arrive after ordering the three pack and nowadays, I cannot suggest this as an economic choice in any way shape or form for washing your dishes.

Best No Chemical Detergent!
These are so good I've subscribed to them! I will say, I'm the kind of person that rinses the dishes before they go into the dishwasher so that could absolutely play a part but I never have dirty dishes and never have a gross residue on my dishes. This detergent being chemical free makes me feel better about putting baby bottles in the dishwasher!

No Residue
I was using dishwasher soap that was leaving a film on my dishes. I have a Bosch dishwasher and I am not a fan of cleaning food from the filter so I always pre-wash to remove food from dishes and pots and pans including silver ware before I place them in the dishwasher. The Cascade Complete dishwasher soap was leaving a film on my dishes and I have a water softener. I switched to Aspen Unscented? no-Parfume Clean Dishwasher Pods and from the very first use I like the results. No film on the dishes or glasses what so ever. I do not use any additional products with the soap. I saw some reviews that mentioned the pods film was not dissolving in the dishwasher but I have not had any problems like that maybe their water is not hot enough to dissolve them. I highly recommend Aspen Clean even though they cost more than what I pickup at the grocery store. Why because I do not want to ingest commercial made substance into my body anymore. I can see the difference on the dishes.

causing something sticky to accumulate on the drain filter
Initially I rated this 5 stars when I started using it 18 months ago. Unfortunately over time it clogs the washer drain with a grey odorless sticky residue. It feels like the glue on the back of a roll of duct tape. It forms thick films that prevent the washer from draining/cycling properly. You could address the issue by frequently scrubbing that filter, but it's quite difficult to remove because it's sticky like glue. It's nothing like the sort of food residue you'd normally expect to be on the filter. I suspect it's coming from the "Polyvinyl Alcohol Polymer" in the wrappers. The wrappers feel extremely gooey and sticky if you touch them when wet. The material doesn't seem to be toxic, but looking at the uses for it, it does look like it would have the ability to cause exactly this problem. Edit: It's been around a year since I switched to Blueland pods, and they don't have this problem. They don't have a wrapper at all, which I think is the key difference.

Still LOVE these after 2 years
Love these! They get our dishes clean (most of the time). The only issues we sometimes have with residue are things that are really caked on. If you do a quick rinse before loading dishes into the dishwasher, you are good to go! I like that they are EWG verified, and unscented/no smell. We’ve never had an issue with the pods caking together, and they are powder-filled vs gel. We have been using these for 2 years and have them on auto-reorder!
