Which is to hold my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus, from my rear view mirror. Yes, it shakes when driving but that's not a big deal for me personally. I had the aforementioned tablet stuck on a magnetic dock, suspended from my dome light fixture and it would change position and even fall frequently. This was very concerning, being the screen could have cracked by falling on hard surfaces in my suv, so coming from this, shaking isn't a deal breaker for me. I like that i can change the angle towards me and change the tablet from horizontal to landscape and last but not least, move the tablet up or down, depending on the orientation of the tablet, so it doesn't block my touch screen navigation. At first, i thought the product didn't open wide enough to hold my tablet but i realized that the tablet needs to be placed in the product, in the landscape orientation.

It was purchased to hold a dashcam. It was not even able to go on the mirror. I gave it to my mom. She installed on her mirror. After stopping for traffic the bracket came off. The mount broke, the phone fell on the floor.

The unit looks a little more elegant and function in the picture than it really is. I have a 23' 4Runner and was hoping that I could avoid putting a permanent mount for my backup camera on the dash. The unit is hard to attach and weighs almost as much as the backup display screen, which is proportionate to the pictures. It' s just a huge hunk of plastic and a lot of weight to add to the rearview mirror, especially since there is all that nanny-wear there as well. I ended up with the permanent dash-mount afterall.

Love this holder. I wanted to see if my devices fit in the bracket BEFORE i attempted to place the mount on the rear view mirror. The bracket is perfect. Now here is where you need to pay attention to the photos. Check your rear view mirror style carefully. If you have physical or digital buttons on your mirror, you may run into issues. The mount (part that fits over the mirror) has 3 feet (2 on top, 1 on bottom). The bottom one may interfere with the buttons on the mirror. In my opinion, i wouldnt ride around with a heavy device inside the bracket, like a big tablet. If you hit a pothole or drive on rough terrain, your mirror will move or worse, fall off. Just follow instructions and everything should be fine.
