Perfect on a fluid swap on a BMW E60
I used this kit to change the brake fluid in my BMW E60 M5 and it worked flawlessly saving all the aggravation of having someone else help by pressing the pedal etc, excellent addition to the toolkit and an essential kit for bleeding your brakes alone. The pressure build up was good, the pressure cap fitted perfectly on the BMW brake fluid reservoir with the extra tool for tightening it up for a good seal was an added bonus. Highly recommended and very straightforward to use for a clean job without fluid spilling everywhere. I set it at 2 Bar and used the BMW ISTA+ diagnostic software to run the DSC pump and brake bleeding sequence clearing out all the dirty fluid completely by running the pump to ensure all the old fluid is removed and it worked perfectly in tandem with this kit.

squirts fluid out when you try pressurise
Poor quality cap that squirts fluid out when you try pressurise, problem is the rubber seal inside the cap is not sealed so the fluid can get behind it from the centre hole and come pass the threads, I managed to use silicone to put under the rubber seal to seal it that worked once same problem again, maybe use something that's resistant to the brake fluid but then again why should you have to fix new products design flaws?

God send !
Such a god send ! The only thing is to add a small section of pipe in the delivery side of the screw down cap on resevoir, this leave the air gap you need a the top, otherwise it's brimming full when you've finished.

Brilliant kit for brake bleeding
After a couple of failed attempts to fix my spongy brakes at a local garage I thought I would have a go myself and so purchased this kit from Amazon. The instructions are so straightforward (a bit of research looking at you tune videos helps). I filled the bottle with a litre of (appropriate) brake fluid. Screwed the cap to my fluid reservoir, attached the collection bottle, pressurised the system, attached the collection bottle and watched the fluid flow. I had a friend to help but is not essential, this was mainly to see if any air bubbles came out as I pressed the brake pedal a few times. In my case there were bubbles. I repeated this process for all wheels and heigh presto, mu brakes were fixed - no sponginess. You do have to keep checking the main bottle for fluid and to re-pressurise as needed (to 15 psi), however the collection bottle is graduated so gives you an indication of how much fluid has passed through.

Disappointed
Bought to use on my audi a5. It seemed to be holding pressure but how much i couldn't say as the pressure gauge doesn't work. As It seemed to be pressurised i opened the bleed nipple on my brakes but no fluid came out. Very disappointed.

Doesn't fit Toyota Celica
Unfortunately this didn't fit the brake reservoir on my Celica as it has a push on cap not threaded. I did check that the kit holds pressure and it did very well. The extra bottle for the bleed nipple came in handy and fitted well onto the nipple stopping any fluid leaking out. I have few other cars that need the brakes bleeding so it will no doubt get used in the future.
