I usually apply a beard dye every 8 to 10 days but after about a week the grey starts to come through and I have often wished I could just ‘top-up’ the grey bits when I want to go out somewhere, rather than dyeing everything all over again. This product solves that issue perfectly. It blends in with the dyed parts and saves me a lot of time and effort. It’s really easy to apply, the brush doesn’t look like it has anything on it, but a few gentle strokes is all it takes to remove the grey. It works on the stray grey ones on my eyebrows too. You wait 5 minutes and it sets, so it doesn’t rub off or stain anything that comes into contact with it. It’s a bit of an odd substance and it’s hard to know how it works. It does make the hair feel a little rough but not sticky. I did manage to wash it out successfully with warm water and soap, which I believe has to be done before I can use the regular beard dye again. It doesn’t quite last as long as a day, I am not even sure if it depends on how often you rinse your face or if you sweat, because as previously mentioned, it stipulates warm water and soap for removal. But it’s more than enough time to get your beard looking good whenever the need arises. It won’t replace the need for full on dye though, so it is more of a temporary fix. But for me this has solved a long term issue and I would be happy make a regular purchase of this product in the future.

I reluctantly use the Just For Men Beard dye as it burns my skin and it goes red for several days. So I turned to this type of product a few years ago. My old brand was good but the company is now out of business. So I tried this and I am totally impressed. It is much better. Yes you have to apply it every morning but the effect is superb. Coverage and look is better than the dye product! It is difficult to wash out with soap and water! This means you don't need to worry about the rain as it's waterproof. I tend to touch my face and the old brand would wear away throughout the day. Not so much with this.. it is pretty good all day. And you can go to bed without washing it off as it won't rub off on the pillow case. Really impressed. Most importantly .. no rash with this product !!!!

I’ve always used the beard dye to tint my brows, thought this would work the same but with a better applicator. I was very wrong, it’s awful…not much brushes on so have to sort of dip the end and just use that to apply, left it for the 5 mins - and it wouldn’t come off! Dried really hard, it took 5 attempts to wash off and once I got it all off my hair there was no tint so pretty useless would not recommend!

But I'll take away 2. Firstly, the colour does not match the images in the ad or package, it's very much a lighter brown. Second, it says it takes 5 minutes to dry so as to not rub off on clothes, but 3 hours later and it rubbed off on a white shirt, which is very annoying. Bonus flaw* Like some other people have said, it leaves your beard feeling super stiff/dry. Pros: -Good Coverage, a little goes a long way. -Easy Application & Removal Process -Doesn't Irritate Skin Cons: -Colour Isn't Accurate -Rubs Off On Clothes, Even When "Dry." -Leaves Your Beard With A Weird "Stiff" Texture.

Outstanding effect, and it couldn't be easier to apply. The product comes in a nice, matt-finish stick, as depicted, and when you unscrew the cap, it slides out looking a bit like a mascara brush. All you have to do is lightly brush at any grey segments on your facial hair, and done! The intention of this product is to just touch up smaller parts of your beard that are grey. Perfect for me, because I've got one patch of grey hair on the left side of my beard for some reason, so I use this to cover it up until it (hopefully) becomes more symmetrical.

For my 3-5 day beard, this works well, but it takes time to get used to how to apply it. The first day, I applied it all over, and realised it went on my skin and just ended up creating patches! Subsequently, I realised a little brush of the applicator on your silver strands is enough! It provides good coverage, lasts through the day and is very convenient to use.

Works but leaves everything sticky, untouchable afterwards. Avoid!
