This set is so simple to use (and stick in dishwasher for cleaning) that I am astounded I had not tried it before. I actually had burned up 2 pans (water ran dry) and was so mad at myself on the 2nd one that I started looking for a steamer (had not looked before) and found this one and I absolutely love it. It is perfect for steaming my vegetables such as carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. Just put plenty of water (in my case) in the pan and (sometimes I add a bag of rice) then cut up the vegetables I plan to use and put them in the steamer part and set in place over the bottom pan and add the lid. Check back for tenderness desired. I have been using this two to four times a week and love it.

I use this steamer several times a week. It functions well. I do wish there was a cute color but what it lacks in visual appeal, it makes up with functionality.

I’ve bought two of these one for home and the other is for my travel trailer love this to steam /reheat tamales , veggies for some ramen noodles or steam some shrimp. Great size for myself in the travel trailer.

I love the look, it's very cute but it's not very durable. I received it two days ago and the wooden handle on the lid cracked today while heating up soup. The pot itself is very nice and non stick but I've yet to try the steamer. We'll see how long it lasts.

the shining steamer is 304 food grade stainless steel. I threw my old steamer away.

Really disappointed. I wanted to love this saucepan but the ceramic coating already came scratched to the aluminum layer so I couldn't keep it or reorder a new one. So disappointing.

You have to take the handle off before you put the pot in the dishwasher. It was broken when I removed it.

I’m disappointed for what I’ve received!! I could find better for the same price.
