We were unfortunately sent a defective hitch. The hole was not cut properly. Reached out to Amazon about the issue, but this is sold by a seller not Amazon. So was directed to the seller. They were great and awesome, after sending them proof of the defective hitch, they personally tested a different one to make sure it was good to go, and mailed the new hitch out to us. Very happy with their customer service thus far. Bumper arrived well packaged, all parts were there. No damage, easy to install.

Great bumper! Installation was simple and straightforward. Looks much better than the piece of plastic garbage that was stock on our 2011 Jeep Wrangler.

At nearly 1/4 the price of the mainstream Offroad parts suppliers, this was a bargain! Fit and build quality were flawless. My 35” spare fit with plenty of room. My only two negatives: the amount of slop/clearance in the receiver is substantial. Very sloppy for a bike carrier. The other is that no bushings were supplied for the tow hooks. So those were also very sloppy and would likely clunk on bumps and make noise. I will 3D print some before installing.

This bumper came well packaged. It's appears to be well built. However installing it was not as straight forward as it would appear. Had a hard time getting all the bolt holes to align in order to start all the bolts. Had to wrestle with it for over a couple of hours to get all of them in. Once they were in I still had to pry on it to get the bumper to align properly and not droop down which was causing the spare tire to hit the bumper making it difficult to close the tailgate. They tell you to tighten the four bolts at the factory hitch location first but that did not align it properly and doing that made it impossible to adjust the location of the side ears. I had to loosen the for center bolts pry down on the side ears and tighten them down and the tighten the center bolts again. I still haven't hooked up the LEDs. I'll update the review once I do that.

It seems the Chinese factory worker who welded my bumper had no prior welding experience, as the welds are pretty rough. The lights are a joke and I choose not to use them. Nevertheless, I was not expecting a quality product at this price. The powder-coat finish is good overall, with bare steel showing through in only two very small locations. If you choose not to install the tow-hitch receiver, lights and shackles, then the bumper itself only weighs 44 pounds (20 kg). I was looking for a lightweight steel bumper, and this bumper meets that specification.
