THAT IS LOUD! Loved it
THAT IS LOUD! If you're a commuter, it could save lives! Batter lasts long, easy to install on the bike and it fits a big variety of handlebars, the button works fine, it really alerts people and cars, very loud, the loudest I ever had considering the battery and size. Really recommend it.

Good but comes with flaws
A well constructed but not waterproof unit. If any rain gets into the unit it will stop working, the button can be replaced quite cheaply from the HornIt website, but the main unit will set you back another £30 (current Amazon price) to replace if it breaks due to water damage. This is the biggest negative feature. Unit comes with "Garmin like mounts" but the official Garmin mounts are too small for the unit and cannot be used so they are not interchangeable. The brackets supplied don't fit every handlebar size, contrary to claims otherwise. The large bracket cannot be used with the supplied spacers underneath, due to how the spacers and larger bracket are designed, meaning the large bracket fits 32mm handlebars only. The smaller bracket fits 22-26mm handlebars, leaving an incompatibility issue for any handlebars measuring between 27-31mm. Unit is clearly designed for road / gravel / touring bikes not MTB, contrary to claims otherwise, as it will not fit most MTB handlebars and the intended use case of the product is to be loud enough for pedestrians to hear over busy traffic. The hornIt on a MTB trail, despite the advertisement, would be, too loud and too aggressive. On a road bike it takes up a significant amount of room of the handlebar. The louder 140db bird chirp like sound seems to cause confusion, a stop and look confused like a squirrel in headlights, in the majority of pedestrians, possibly because it's a sound which is very unfamiliar on the road, but the quieter, still loud enough for busy road use, horn sound most pedestrians respond well to, in the same way as they do to a car horn sound. Everyone knows what a horn sound means. Pedestrians with headphones in who walk into the road like zombies still cannot hear it. It is by virtually all measures better than a bell on the handlebars for its intended use and can be heard over rush hour traffic by both pedestrians, other cyclists and from inside cars in most cases.

Very loud, very good
I have had this for a couple of months now, riding on everything from urban residential roads, to cycle ways and bridle paths. It is an excellent product, very loud (in both sound modes) and seems more than adequate to get the message across to both pedestrians and all other road users. In addition, it's worth noting that the switch (which you put on the handlebar or grip) is easy to use while wearing gloves, something that has been a problem for me with other more conventional bell designs. If you get one of these, put the batteries in and take it outside before testing... you might be surprised how loud it is in your front room!

Very Loud
This horn is very loud. I cannot fully describe how loud it is, but I can say that you don't want to leave it on too long as to damage your own hearing. I would definitely not use this with cyclists or pedestrians on residential streets as it would cause unnecessary alarm, but it is great for busy urban environments (or any instance where cars are involved). Installation is quite easy; I had a bit of trouble finding where I could place it on my mountain bike to be within reach while I pressed the brakes, but found on the handlebar next to the gear shifter was the best place eventually. The cable linking the button to the horn is not long enough to go from one end of my handlebar to the other, but that is probably good as you don't want unnecessary cable clutter. Mounting the horn each time is very easy with the Garmin mount as well, and is physically not as large as I was expecting it to be, so it's easier to store. To be honest I prefer the lower-decibel horn mode to the higher-pitched one; it's still likely loud enough to be heard inside a car and causes less confusion to people on the road. I would only use the high-pitched one if cycling through a city centre at rush hour, which can be done through a dedicated button on the back of the horn. I would recommend this to any cyclist using semi-busy roads, but it's probably not necessary if only using cycle paths.

Yes, its loud!
This is certainly loud! Two tones to choose from, but the actual hooter noise does the job, it gets peoples attention. Simple to fit, and does not take up too much room.

Bloody loud
Very very loud. Love it. Saves me swearing at people. After many days of rain, unfortunately it is half as loud and works intermittently now. Back to swearing at people again. I even taped it up to make more waterproof but to no avail. Worked well for about 10-11 months.

Really great horn! Genuinely loud. 2 modes. I would say this is a necessity for safety while cycling. Not too difficult to install. Recommended 👍🏻

Haven’t used it on my scooter but let me tell you, this is loud. Annoyingly loud. It’s going to get the job done. When it says it’s “piercing” , it truly means that. The controls are simple and the mechanism used to initiate the sound is able to be placed in a discreet area so that it doesn’t interfere with other controls. Sweet man.
