This is a brilliant tool.
This is a brilliant tool. It is much easier to use, faster and more effective than traditional 12 volt compressors. It took my horsebox trailer tyres from 45 psi to 60 in just a couple of minutes each (my 12v compressors could not cope). It needs a 5 minute rest after 5 minutes continuous use (15 mins for 12v comp). It comes with all the connectors I would need. I wish I had had this tool years ago.

Brilliant, always read the reviews.
Brilliant and very fast inflator. Feels commercial quality all be it plasticky like lots of Bosch stuff. Had a couple of 4.0 ah batteries already from battery lawnmower, so works a treat. Funnily enough i was about to give it only 3 stars as i just tried it out, and discovered the quality of the shreider valve meant loosing a load of air and threading the value thread, and was about to hit buy on an aftermarket quick release. I checked the reviews and it mentioned that it now comes with the adaptor. Unfortunately it’s in a little brown envelope on the box and separate from the machine. (Probably should have been in the little storage box). It’s a good quality one also, which probably cost them less than £1 to include, so well done Bosch. The quick release is a game changer, and makes this a solid 5. BTW, it inflates so quickly, that i doubt i will miss the lack of digital display and auto stop, unless i was inflating a car tyre from flat, which is very unlikely i will ever do that (more likely a tyre shop) so in most cases including bike tyres, its 30s or less. An no need to set the pressure and lock it in, so way faster. I have other car inflators which work off car power which have auto stop, and to be honest, they always under or over inflate anyway and i spend a load of time tweaking it. So for me, this a an easy 5 star!

Works on all balls and tyres
Well made and comes with a range of nozzles for all valve types for bikes, cars and balls. It also now comes with a quick snap on and quick release Schroder nozzle for car tyres, rather than the slower screw on fitting it apparently used to have. The brass snap on works well and is actually easer to put on and release than the black plastic nozzle on British pumps. A well made, well thought out piece of kit. I used a foot pump for years so this pump is a bit noisy by comparison - but I would rather have this one! PS: I forgot to mention the battery - I have a Bosch 18v battery for a drill and another 18 v battery for a strimmer - both tools are about 10 years old. Amazingly both batteries still fit this new Bosch pump and work with no problems - good for Bosch in producing a battery which fits new tools as well as old for so many years!

Your Reliable Companion for Quick and Powerful Inflation
I recently acquired the Bosch UniversalPump 18V, and I'm thoroughly impressed by its performance and versatility. One of the standout features of this electric air pump is its fast and powerful inflation capabilities. With a pressure of up to 10.3 bar and an airflow of 30 l/min, it effortlessly handles inflating car, motorcycle, and bicycle tyres, as well as other inflatable items, with ease. The illuminated pressure gauge ensures that I can easily read the pressure in all lighting conditions, providing added convenience and accuracy during inflation. Plus, the car valve adapter is securely attached to the end of the hose, while the other adapters are conveniently screwed on, ensuring a hassle-free experience. I appreciate the thoughtful design elements of this pump, such as the integrated accessory compartment that neatly stores all the accessories, keeping them organized and easily accessible. Additionally, the anti-torsion air hose is rolled up at the front, further enhancing convenience and ease of use. The UniversalPump 18V comes in a carton packaging and includes essential accessories like a ball needle, a French valve adapter, and a balloon adapter, making it a comprehensive solution for all my inflation needs. Overall, the Bosch UniversalPump 18V is a reliable and efficient tool that simplifies the task of inflating tyres and other inflatables. Whether you're at home, on the road, or at the campsite, this pump is an essential companion for any inflation task. With its impressive performance and user-friendly design, I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a quality air compressor.

Brilliantly Simple and Seriously Handy
Bought this Bosch UniversalPump 18V and I’m genuinely impressed. It's ridiculously easy to use—just connect and go. It inflated my car and bike tyres in no time at all, much quicker than I expected. Best part? It runs on the same 18V battery system as my other Bosch tools, so no faffing around with separate chargers or cables. Just pop in a battery and you're ready to roll. Compact, efficient, and properly convenient. A no-brainer if you're already in the Bosch 18V family!

Great piece of kit
Be careful because the reviews here are for 2 different products. I bought the larger Universal pump and I'm very impressed with it. It uses the batteries I have for my other Bosch products (strimmer, leaf blower & cordless drill). There is plenty of power in the unit and it had no problem topping up 10 car tyres (2 cars and a caravan) and 6 bike wheels with a 2.5 amp battery. The led light is helpful for at night and the gauge is very accurate and also back lit. Yes it's noisy but all high pressure pumps are. I highly recommend this brilliant piece of kit and a reasonable price. Only change I would like to see it for it to be fitted with a digital gauge which will automatically shut the pump off when it reaches the preset pressure. That said its not that big a deal!

So portable, perfect for car journeys
Husband has "plug-in" air pumps in his garage but decided to buy this cordless Bosch one as he already has the power4all batteries for his other cordless Bosch tools. He intends using this one as a back up when we go on longer journeys as it is so handy for taking in the car compared to standard air pumps that you have to plug in to car socket and trail power lead to whichever tyre you require inflating. Added bonus is that it comes with an adaptor so you don't have to waste time screwing the air hose onto the tyre valve, you simply screw this adaptor onto the air hose connector to make it a push-on fit to the tyre valve - - ACE !

Be aware you can’t set the required pressure
Be aware you can’t set the required pressure you manually watch the small dial and have to release the trigger at the correct moment. Before buying I checked by asking Amazon’s Rufus and it said you can set the required pressure… incorrect. I should have sent this back but didn’t. Overall, disappointing from Bosch.
