The generator is fine. The delivery company SUCKED!!! It took 10 days to get it delivered after it was in town. I never could talk to anyone just an AI live chat! You need to fix that for large items.

The noise level is kinda load but I don't mind cuz I can know it have turned on while In the house. And it's bare able noise. Best to have it so when bad weather comes your ready to keep your family safe and house well lite. Continue your activities and keeps children from panicking. A very good item to have. Also it u can set a schedule on the mobile app to test run the unit that way it keeps all oils and moving parts lubricated and ready to work when it needs to. Also if there's anything wrong it should send information to your mobile app. Very well thought to protect your investment.

Installed and already tested. Houston is having a lot of power outages and it worked just fine. I recommend!

DO NOT BUY A GENERAC FROM AMAZON! We purchased a Generac generator from Amazon but didn’t install it right away. When we finally had it installed, the electrician discovered that the panel appeared used, with visible rust and burn marks. When we contacted Amazon, they refused responsibility and told us to use Generac’s warranty. Generac then sent us to one of their retailers, who claimed it was Amazon’s issue. Neither company will take accountability. We are stuck in an endless loop of finger-pointing, and now we’re forced to pay $700+ for a new panel just to make the generator functional. Amazon says it’s past their return window, and Generac won’t honor their warranty because Amazon sold us a used panel. This is completely unacceptable. We strongly advise against buying a Generac product from Amazon.

Best investment this is the second one I have purchased for two different homes love love love this Generator !!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Reliability and ease of finding service - but WiFi support is weak.

This was a replacement for a 15 year old 15KW generac. Installation was different because much as changed. This was bought to allow a whole house use. don't get the troublesome load managed add on devices, get a generac with capacity you need. Control wires now require a neutral connection that is NOT shown in the install manual. Without this extra neutral wire the battery will not charge. A simple addition BUT when you end up requesting a service call $$ for a GENERAC PROBLEM, ITS FRUSTRATION to wait 10 days to pay the call fee, and the tech tells you it happens to everyone. Mobile link app is buggy. Generac could do better for customers, reduce marketing hype budget, and improve manual.
